He's been doing this for the past few runs, it's starting to get annoying. We go through fine, then he gets all shaky when it's important. I decided to just grab Mono's hand and pull him forward, both of us crouched down low to muffle our steps. Would I leave him if I could? Yes. Can I? No. I know I can't get through most of these without him and I think that's part of why I don't like him. I hate relying on people. Especially when I know they're going to hurt me.
---------------------------------------------------

Sometimes it's better when Six takes the lead of the situation. She's a good leader, but sometimes she moves faster than me. This time she takes me with her, I like holding her hand. When we get to the far wall, we have to work together to push open the flap on the door. It makes a sound that alerts the hunter just as we push through. He slams open the door and loads a gun. The force of it had pushed me away from Six, and while I wanted to grab her hand a loud bang and explosion of wood pushed me further rather than away.

We ran behind a crate that was quickly shot, but I was able to take this chance to grab Six's hand and pull her with me. She stumbled a bit but I couldn't slow down. We hid behind each block we found to make the hunter waste bullets but the crates became fewer. I pulled us into a little hole, making sure to hold Six close to me. I think she said something, but I couldn't really hear since my heart was pounding in my ears. It wasn't until the hunter walked away I let Six go. "You were smothering me!" She huffed.
"Sorry..." I replied. Six huffed and shoved me a bit to express her anger. She didn't talk much but gee, she really didn't struggle to express emotions. "We should keep moving..We can't stay here forever." I said, once again taking Six's hand.
"You better slow down Mono." She grumbled. I nodded a bit absently as we began walking.

The hunter was still nearby, but fortunately so was a hole that we could use for escape. Both of us knelt down to hide in the grass to avoid his light, once we got close to the hole I quickly pushed Six in first while the hunter was loading his gun. I slipped in after her, narrowly avoiding a bullet. Hunter shot at the hole still even as we made our way to the exit, and once we were out I took a moment to catch my breath, with Six waiting impatiently. Once I was back up we headed over to another broken bridge.

(This is admittedly a joke based on when I played the game, where for a bit I couldn't figure out how to get further)

To be honest, I couldn't remember how we got past here. As we both looked into the foggy abyss, I momentarily debated trying to make the jump. Fortunately I decided against it, but now we were stuck. "Six, I regret to inform you that our journey has unfortunately come to an end." I sighed. She turned to me with a confused expression before I let out a happy gasp, remembering what to do. "Six! Our journey doesn't end here!" I said excitedly as I went over to the bridge support. I pulled a piece of rope on it, pulling up part of the bridge so it was close enough for Six to jump. Once she crossed I dropped the rope, now I had to jump and grab her hand. It's a little hard to do this, I know she won't drop me but still...

Once we're both on the other side, it's time to get walking again. I stop though for a moment to climb up some cages. There is a yellow rain hat here, and I try to grab it when I remember. To put it on I turn away from Six to take off my paper bag and switch it with the hat. My eyes are shadowed over giving me at least a bit of coverage, but since she can now see my mouth I give her a wide smile. Six just roller her eyes at me before urging me forward and on to the next part of our journey. This part gets really scary, where the hunter returns and shoots more at us. We hide behind the boxes easily, and Six somehow gets in front of me. She's a faster climber than I am, which is understandable.

Up in the raftors we dodge bullets and jump out of a window. Underneath is really nasty water which I could really do without. I can't keep from falling in though and letting out an audible gag. Six shushes me just as the hunter comes out. We wait for him to walk away before getting ready to move again. "This is so gross..." I grumble, trying my best to keep my arms out of the muck. Six turns to me with a mischievous smile and splashes me before I could even process what she was doing. "Ew!" I yelled as I wiped gunk off my face. Six laughed before dunking us both underwater as the hunter came rushing back. When we were finally able to surface I gagged and tried to clean myself off. Six just giggled again and pulled me along.

At least it was a bit easier to dunk under water when needed...I couldn't wait to get myself washed off in the ocean when we got to it. When we got to the stump we began pushing it down.

--------------------------------
I remember when Mono carved the little heart in it. It was a long time ago, back when we were scared to move forward for a while. It always surprises me how the heart stayed, I wish it didn't. If I look closely, I can see the faint scratching of M + S on it. I'm still not sure when he did that or even why. It leaves a weird feeling in my stomach everytime I think about it. He cares, at least for now, making his later actions even worse.
--------------------------------------

Since he was right there the hunter both heard and saw us, forcing us to have to quickly jump down to avoid getting shot. We ducked underwater to get past the hunter and waited for him to walk away before ascending up the ladder. I helped Six onto the ledge, then climbed up before her just in case something happened. Once we get up I feel myself start to get really shaky again. I know what we'll need to do, and we've done it so many times but that doesn't make it any less scary. I think Six noticed my hesitation as she grabbed my hand and walked forward with me.

We were noticed when the crows flew away and had to move fast to get behind the crate as the hunter shot his gun. Once we could, we got into the shed where we had our assignments. Six had to close the door and get it locked while I had to pull down the gun. Once it fell she lifted up the front part. I got the back of it just as the hunter was able to poke his head into the door from the hole he broke in it. I pulled the trigger and shot the gun, killing the hunter immediately. The force of the shot knocked Six and I over and for a moment we just laid on the ground and waited for the ringing in our ears to stop. Six seemed to recover faster and got up a moment before me, nudging me with her hand to make sure I was at least alive. I told her I was fine and got up, wasting no time hopping onto the box and out the window. She followed after me, and then sat down on the door in the water, leaving me to push off. I noticed she sat much further from me than usual.
