Meanwhile, as the suns continue to rise, Cam expertly guides her speeder back home. The sleek vehicle hums as she parks it near the main hut.

Excitement bubbles in Cam's chest as she and her sister step out of the speeder. Her family, who had been anxiously waiting for her return, quickly emerge from the hut and rush towards her with open arms. A cacophony of voices fills the air as they all embrace in a tight hug, relieved that Cam has returned safely with her sister.

Later, while Cylie rests, Cam's family gather around the kitchen table, their eyes filled with astonishment as they listen to her recount her experience of rescuing Cylie. The astonishment turns to angry disbelief as Cam tells them what she plans to do next.

"You're leaving?" Jen asks.

She looks away from her mother.

"You just got here," Hal protests. "You brought your sister safely home. You can't leave."

"I have to. The man who helped me find Cylie, who saved my life, was captured. I have to rescue him."

Ryj laughs. "You're crazy, sister. It was just luck you both made it back this time."

"It wasn't luck. It was--"

"The Force," a voice says.

They all turn to look at the young girl standing in the doorway. She has cleaned herself up but still looks exhausted from her experience. "It's real," Cylie says. "Jedi are real. A Jedi helped us. If Cam wants to help him, we should let her."

Cam smiles and hugs her sister. "You'll be okay?"

"Of course. Go."

Cam nods in gratitude.

Later, Ryj is working on the landspeeder.

"What did you do to this thing?" he asks as he examines the dusty, beat-up frame.

"Will it make it to the Jundland Wastes?"

"There? Maybe. Back? I'm not so sure. I've fixed what I can but it wasn't mean to see so much action." He stares at her seriously. "You're sure I can't make you change your mind?"

"Not a chance."

"Then good luck. You're gonna need it."

Cam gets in and starts the speeder up. She waves to Cylie standing in the doorway of the hut. Her parents watch sadly as she drives out of there.

Back in Anchorhead, AR-67 arrives on a new speederbike. The bike is sleek and shiny, with chrome accents and sparkling blue paint. It gleams in the desert sun, standing out amongst the typical dusty and worn vehicles in Anchorhead. As it comes to a stop in front of the Marshall's office, the hum of the engine fades to a low purr.

AR-67 strides purposefully towards the door. A sleeping HOMELESS ALIEN is in his way and AR-67 kicks the alien, who cries out in pain.

AR-67 barges into the Marshall's office, surprising Hoedaack.

"What are you doing here?" the Marshall asks. "You were supposed to communicate with me before returning."

"This is too important. Kenobi escaped before I could take him into custody. But I've made a deal that will get us something far more valuable than the fugitive Jedi. All we have to do is remove some troublesome moisture farmers."

Hoedaack is incredulous. "You've made a deal? Who do you think is running this operation?"

"Quiet!" The harsh metallic tone of his voice makes even the Marshall shut up. "How soon can we requisition a garrison of Imperial Stormtroopers?"
