once felix told him that, jisung felt betrayed.

they'd been friends for a few years now and he'd never once seen them together.

now with the new information in mind, jisung planned on trying harder to become friends with minho.

it couldn't be that hard, right? felix and minho were brothers. how bad could minho be?

after a hard session of drills, jisung trudges over to the bench.

"tired already, kid?" one of the older teammates ask him. jisung just nods, relaxing his body against the bench.

he's so tired he can't think straight, especially with his teammate rambling on.

"alright then, i'll leave you alone now," the boy says sheepishly when he realized that jisung was too tired to listen. when the boy returned to the field, jisung rolled over onto the soft grass instead, happily resting without the constant chatter of his teammate.

jisung felt like he was dying right then and there. he was hyperaware of the sweat trickling down his forehead, tracing his cheek, and the breeze on his-

-arms. He groaned, lifting his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face. feeling the nice breeze on his stomach, he decided to just lay there, his belly exposed.

"OW!" jisung groaned, rolling over. a harsh slap resonated through the air after hyunjin slapped jisung's stomach.

hyunjin laughed softly, running his hand through jisung's sweaty hair. "maybe you shouldn't have your flab hanging out," he joked, rubbing the latter's belly.

jisung pouted. "it is NOT flab, look at all the muscle!" he sat up, showing off his stomach, then laughing at his own actions.

hyunjin rubbed jisung's stomach as the younger sat up, pulling the tall blonde down next to him. he fell abruptly on top of jisung, the younger laughing at him. the elder couldn't help but smile and laugh as well.

he rolled over next to jisung, then pulled the brunette's head on his lap. hyunjin ran his hands through the latter's hair until it was semi-dry, massaging his head.

jisung didn't know why hyunjin was massaging him, although he was affectionate, but let himself relax into the elder's gentle touch. he hummed in gratitude.

hyunjin smiled softly at jisung who had melted in his lap. he looked up, planning on watching the players who were now moving onto scrimmages. instead, he met the eyes of the boy that had been eyeing jisung at the beginning of practice.

the mysterious boy just stared at hyunjin before looking away, giving him an uneasy feeling.

jisung sat up, noticing hyunjin's distant expression. he pinched his cheek. "what's up with you, hyungie?"

hyunjin blinked, looking at the doe eyes that were focused on him. "nothing." he pulled jisung closer, not wanting the break with him to end. he knew that the coaches had a soft spot for jisung, so if he stayed with him they'd leave him alone.

jisung let himself be embraced by hyunjin. he looked around the field, his eyes eventually landing on one person.

minho.

he was mesmerized as the boy ran through the field, his lavender hair showing through his field. he skillfully dodged players left and right, who one by one gave up on chasing him.

he took his helmet off, shaking sweat droplets away. jisung watched as his soft hair bounced. he felt like his eyes were being magnetized towards minho.

next to him, hyunjin followed the latter's gaze, his eyes darkening. he unconsciously pulled jisung closer to him, almost dragging him onto his lap.

"why did you all give up? will you give up on the field as well?" minho shouted angrily, making everyone freeze. "if someone's too good you'll let them win?" he threw the football on the ground, frustratedly running his hands through his hair.

fuck, why am i the captain of such a shitty team?

he let out an exasperated groan, rolling his eyes.

a shorter boy with curly blonde hair walked over to minho, snaking his arm around his shoulder. "calm down, bro. they'll learn." he threw the captain a smile, a dimple on his cheek."

"whatever, chan-hyung." he looked over to the bench, planning on taking a break. there, he saw two people staring at him. one with adoration, one with hatred and jealousy. he looked at their position and glared at both of them, deciding to just walk to the side and rest on the grass. something about them just made him feel worse.

haven't they been there for a while now? have they been watching me the whole time? he shivered. lazy ass weirdos... soccer players are always lazy. he rolled his eyes again.

jisung looked away, until his eyes met someone else's.

the curly blonde haired guy smiled apologetically at jisung, knowing that minho was just in a bad temper.

jisung looked over at hyunjin. "we should probably get back to practice now. we've been here for too long..." he said sheepishly. when they returned to the field, everyone had returned to normal after minho's outburst.

when jisung leaves the bench, minho quickly takes it and sips his water quietly.

jisung is running around, his chest heaving. sweat traces his forehead and arms, making them glisten under the sun.

he skillfully weaves in and out between players, keeping the ball in control. unlike minho, he shouted encouragement and praise to his teammates, hoping to motivate them.

jisung shoots goal after goal with ease. minho watches as he walks around and personally gives everyone tips. his eyes follow jisung until he is talking to a raven haired boy.

minho narrows his eyes. the boy was eyeing jisung as if he was the most disgusting thing he'd ever seen.

does he not notice?

minho shrugs it off. why would he care anyway?

jisung pulls his shirt up to wipe his sweat. minho watches a single drop of sweat trace its way down his back. his eyes trace the slim waist and toned abs of the younger.

unknowingly, he is in a trance.

he quickly shakes his head, looking around to see that indeed no one was looking at him. he awkwardly cleared his throat and picked himself up, trudging back to the field.

what's wrong with me?
