Chapter 3 - Oh god.

Me and Rae run down there as they drag Faye and Ezra.

"Better hope god is in your favor" said the police man "Im atheist you crook! Assuming religion!" Screamed Fae

"Yeah I bet your doing this because we are gay!" Yelled Ezra

"Why are you standing here?" Asked the police officer.

"Oh they both are my friends" I say laughing nervously

"Oh, well they are going with me do you have a ride home?" Asked the officer. I was about to say no but Rae interrupted me "she's going with me sir."

I blushed but thankfully Rae didn't notice.

"Ok well your friends will be with me for now" said the mall cop and he waved goodbye

"BITCH COME GET US" screamed Ezra

"HELP US TRY TO GET US OUT" yelled Faye

I took a deep breath and walked away
"It'll just make it worse" I said to both of them.

Rae took her break to drive me home. She had a real nice red car.
She also mentioned she likes some of the same singers as me! Like Melanie Martinez and Mitski. She is also a bit of a country fan (I mean who isn't? I like Reba) so she played her playlist in the car and we jammed out.
When we got to my house she waved goodbye and gave me her number I waved goodbye and told her I'd text her soon. When she drove away I smiled.

I got into my house and my parents asked me why I was late
"Oh I was late because my friends, Ezra and Faye got detained by a mall cop. But don't worry my other friend Rae drove me home" I said to them
"Those girls are bad news" said my Dad
I knew that, but... They've been my friends since 4th grade. And they were there for me when I was sad. I don't even know how they got so mean
"Yeah maybe you should hang out with that Rae more she seemed like a good friend to drive you back" said my mom

"Okay, I hear you but... " I said "I still want to be friends with Ezra and Faye"

"I dunno.." Said my mom
"If Ezra and Faye do one more thing then no friends ok? Last strike" said my dad
I hug him "thank you!" I said. "You should probably thank Rae for driving you all the way to your house" said my Dad

Oh yeah! I have her number
"Okk I'll be in my room" I said to my dad and mom as I walked up to my room.

They are right I should say thank you.
