Chapter 14

                         Solana POV

After last Friday night game that our school basketball team won and I spent the whole weekend with my parents.

Monday until now I had to listen to Tyler and his idiot friends complaining about Devon and how that he was the one who won the basketball with his three points shot ugh.

Thanks God today is Friday and it is after school so I won't hear Tyler and his friends complaining about Devon for at least two days.

I am at home now packing because I will be moving in with the Smiths next door tomorrow for at least 8 to 9 months.

I am packing and listening to music until my mom told me to get ready because we are having dinner with the Smith tonight and I am nervous because I have until Monday to return Devon necklace without him catching me because if I get caught I will get kicked off the cheer team and I can't let that happen because I love cheering and my friends on the cheer team.

I figured I will try to return the necklace tonight maybe so I can get it over with so I can clear my conscience because I felt very guilty for stealing his necklace.

Devon has been upset because he can't find his necklace and has been in a bad mood since I took it.

I know that necklace means Alot to him and he is very upset that he lost it in the first place.

I took a shower and thought about how I can return it tonight. I wonder if Devany will help me so I can return it.

I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body then went back in my room and walked over to my bedroom window.

I looked through the window over to Devon window to see what he was doing but his lights wasn't on in his room so I figured he wasn't home yet or in his room.

Right now would be a great time to sneak in his room and return the necklace so I hurry up and got dressed.

I put on a light purple dress sundress with blue converse. I combed and fixed me hair.

I grabbed my phone and put it in one of my dres pockets and open my bedroom door then walked out.

I walked down the stairs quickly but quietly so my parents won't hear me leave. We still have 30 minutes before we have to be over to the Smith house so that gives me 15 minutes to go nextdoor sneak in Devon room return the necklace then come back here without being closed piece of cake right.

I get to the front door and was bout to sneak out when my mom said behind "Solana where are you going? we have to be next door in 30 minutes" Damn it I got caught ugh.

I closed the front door and turned around then said "I was going next door to talk to Devany bout something"

My mom said "you are about to see her in 30 minutes so you can talk to her then. Yr dad and I want to talk to you in the living room about a few things"

She walked over to me and hugged me then looked at me and said "I can't believe my baby is all grown up and will be graduating next year. We will definitely be back for that because I ain't going to miss my baby graduating and getting her high school diploma for nothing. You are one of the best thing in our lives and we love you"

I said "I love y'all too" then we walked in the living room and talked for 30 minutes about different things like I should message them everyday and tell them bout everything I do this senior year because they want to hear about everything.

They give me the phone number to where they will be staying and everything I need and need to know. They give me money and my own credit card. We talked some more then did a group hugged.

We stopped hugging then walked out the front door and next door to the Smith house. Momma Kristina answer the door and hugged us all then we all walked in.

Momma Kristina called for everyone in her family then Poppa Devin came out of his office and hugged us all but did a weird handshake with my dad tho.

Devany came downstairs and hugged me then my parents but Devon hasn't came yet. I wonder what he is doing up there or is he even at home.

My dad and Poppa Devin started talking about work and sports on the couch.

My mom and Momma Kristina started talking about different things like shows, cooking and other things in the kitchen while Devany and I set the table.

Devon still hasn't came yet hmmm.
