Taehyung walked into EatJin Restaurant, the aroma of spicy Korean cuisine enveloping him like a warm hug. He spotted Jin hyung, his mentor and friend, sitting in the corner, a hint of a smile on his face.As he approached, jin hyung stood up, his eyes shining with pride. "Tae Bear! Congratulations on the new job!"
Taehyung beamed, feeling a sense of accomplishment wash over him. "Thanks, Jin hyung. I couldn't have done it without your guidance."
Hyung Jin clapped him on the back, leading him to a table. "Let's celebrate with some of my famous bulgogi. And then, we need to talk."
Taehyung's curiosity piqued, he nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. What did you want to discuss hyungie?
As they dug into the savory beef dish, Jin's expression turned serious. "Tae Bear, you're now a part of something much bigger than yourself. Be careful who you trust."
Taehyung's eyes narrowed, his instincts on high alert. "What do you mean, Hyungie?"
Hyung Jin leaned in, his voice low and urgent. "Jeon Corporation has secrets, Tae Bear. Secrets that could put you in danger. Keep your wits about you, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need help."
Taehyung's heart raced, a thrill of excitement mixed with fear. He knew he had stepped into a world of intrigue and power struggles, but he was ready to face whatever came next.
Hyung Jin's phone buzzed, and he answered, his voice firm. "Yes, Jimin. I know. I've got his back."
Taehyung's eyes widened as Hyung Jin hung up, his mind racing with questions. What did Jimin and Jin hyung know that he didn't?
Taehyung didn't ask questions, but his mind raced with curiosity. What were they discussing?
After a brief conversation, Jin hung up and turned to Taehyung. "Well, Tae Bear, it was great catching up with you. Congratulations again on the new job!"
Taehyung smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thanks, Hyung. I'm really excited to start."
They chatted for a few more minutes, discussing everything from food to music, before Taehyung stood up to leave. "I should get going, Hyung. See you around!"
Hyung Jin nodded, his eyes warm. "Take care, Tae Bear. Keep in touch!"
With a wave, Taehyung headed out of the restaurant, feeling grateful for the support of his friends and mentors. He walked back to his shared apartment, lost in thought, but feeling hopeful about the future.
As he entered the apartment, Jimin looked up from his laptop, a hint of a smile on his face. "Hey, Tae. How was your meeting with Hyung Jin?"
Taehyung shrugged, dropping onto the couch. "It was good. Just catching up."
Jimin nodded, his eyes returning to his screen. "Cool. I'm almost done with this project. Then we can hang out and celebrate your new job!"
Taehyung grinned, feeling a sense of contentment. "Sounds like a plan to me."
After Jimin finished his project, they went to an arcade, playing games and laughing together. Taehyung beat Jimin's high score, and Jimin retaliated by crushing Taehyung in Street Fighter.
They strolled through the city, enjoying street food and vibrant street art. Jimin led Taehyung to a hidden courtyard, where a live band played a lively set. They danced under the stars, lost in the moment.
As they walked back to their apartment, the night air was filled with sweet scents and distant hums. They collapsed onto the couch, laughing and joking, before settling into a comfortable silence.
