Jungkook gently laid Taehyung down on his king-size bed, pulling the blankets up to his chin. Taehyung's eyes fluttered closed, his breathing slow and steady.
But as the night wore on, Taehyung's peaceful slumber turned into a tormented nightmare. His eyes twitched, his body trembling as he relived the trauma of his past life.
In his dream, he was dying in Jungkook's arms once again, the pain and fear overwhelming him. He cried out, his voice hoarse and desperate, "Jungkook... Kookieeeee..."
Jungkook sprang into action, rushing to Taehyung's side. "Tae, it's okay, I'm here," he whispered, his voice soothing and calm.
Taehyung's eyes snapped open, his gaze wild and terrified. He flung his arms around Jungkook, holding him so tightly that Jungkook could barely breathe.
Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung, holding him close as he comforted him. "Shh, Tae, it's okay. I've got you. You're safe now."
As Taehyung's sobs subsided, Jungkook thought to himself, "How can I comfort him now? How can I erase the pain of his past?"
He held Taehyung close, his mind racing with thoughts of how to heal the wounds that still lingered. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to help Taehyung overcome his fears and find peace.
Taehyung's tears fell like rain, soaking Jungkook's shirt as he clung to him, his arms wrapped around him like a vice. He murmured something incoherent, his voice desperate and pleading, "Kookie... please... don't leave me... don't go..."
Jungkook's heart broke at the sight of Taehyung's distress. He didn't know what to do, how to comfort him. He felt helpless, aidless.
Jungkook's heart shattered into a million pieces as he held Taehyung close, feeling his pain and despair. He didn't know how to comfort him, how to erase the trauma of his past. But he knew he had to try.
With a gentle touch, Jungkook brushed Taehyung's hair out of his face, his fingers tracing the lines of his cheeks. Taehyung's eyes, red and puffy from crying, locked onto his, and Jungkook saw the depth of his fear and vulnerability.
Without a word, Jungkook leaned in, his lips meeting Taehyung's in a soft, gentle kiss. It was a kiss meant to soothe, to comfort, to heal. But as their lips touched, something sparked, and the kiss deepened.
Taehyung's arms tightened around Jungkook's neck, his fingers tangling in his hair as he kissed him back with a desperation that tore at Jungkook's heart. Jungkook held him close, his arms wrapped around him like a shield, protecting him from the world.
The kiss was like a storm, intense and all-consuming. It was a kiss that spoke of longing, of need, of desire. It was a kiss that said, "I'm here for you, I'll never leave you, I'll always protect you."
Taehyung's face crumpled, and he buried his face in Jungkook's shoulder, his body shaking with sobs. Jungkook held him close, his arms wrapped around him like a vice, his heart filled with a love and compassion he'd never felt before.
