Her stomach was churning, every fibre in her body was telling her not to go through this portal but what was the alternative? Never has Leah seen such as obvious danger sign over something, almost like a horror movie everyone knows to walk away from something that is dangerous. You see Jason up and about during Halloween walk the fuck away and drive away. You hear that samara will kill you if you watch that tape. What do you do? Burn that shit or simple do not watch the tape.

What does Leah do? She ignores all of the signs and walks into a mirror that screams you will die.

What could possibly go wrong?

Leahs POV

"shit shit shit shit" I swore under my breath, I went through this portal knowing it was a 50/50 risk that it would either take us home or to another place.

A place full of nothing but evil.

Coming to this place was not easy.

Tumbling through the portal, I felt the world spin around us in a nauseating blur of colours and light. We landed hard on the ground, a cold, unforgiving surface that knocked the wind out of me. Groaning, I pulled myself up, my senses reeling as I tried to take in our new surroundings. A brief feeling of panic filled my system when I felt Natalia's body escape my arms. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw that she was next to Summer, her eyes slowly opened as she also groaned in pain and slowly rolled to her side to stand up.

I wanted to comfort her but right now we had bigger things to worry about.

The sky above was a sickly green, swirling with dark clouds, and the air reeked of sulfur and decay. We were in a twisted forest where trees loomed like skeletal fingers, and shadows seemed to writhe with malevolence.

"Am I still dreaming?" Natalia asked dazed as she looked around, her face lit up ever so slightly when Summer came in her direction and held her hand giving it a small squeeze "Just trust us" was all she whispered as she looked at me with a look I couldn't pinpoint.

"Where are we?" Summer's voice seemed strong but that slight tremor in her voice showed otherwise, the tone echoing my own feelings .

"This isn't home," I replied, my eyes narrowing as I scanned the area, I already knew this when we came tumbling out of that portal. I just needed to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

"Well no shit sherlock" Summer snapped as she looked around "this place looks like freddie krugers fucking playground"

I gritted my teeth "Loose the attitude, and stop being such a bitch" I hissed back as Natalia raised her eyebrows and looked between the two of us. Summer scoffed and looked away.

I cleared my throat as I made my way towards them .

"We must be in another dimension, I've never seen this place before" I said as I observed the symbols in the sky, I frowned slightly. I've seen these before I pointed to the marks "Summer isn't that what was on the m-"

A sinister cackle echoed through the forest cutting my sentence short, sending chills down my spine. From the shadows emerged a group of people, that looked anything but human. I quickly grabbed Summers and Natalia's hand and pulled them both behind me.

Their faces twisted with malice and hunger. Leading them was a tall, gaunt witch with eyes like burning coals. She pointed a bony finger at me. What the fuck. I looked around, is this bitch poitning at me?

"Well, well, well," the lead witch sneered. "Look what we have here. Leah, the prodigal witch returns."

My heart skipped a beat for a split second . "How do you know who I am?" I questioned but scoffed as I placed a shaky hand on my hip "What are you yapping on about prodigal witch?" I did my best to cover how shook I was.
