Striders (Dirk x Reader x Dave x Bro)

Chapter 7

Today is Tuesday. Current time is 8am.
You were cuddling with someone, who to be exact? Dave Strider. The first of the striders to fall in love with. You knew you'd never fall in love bro (wanna bet?) but possibly Dirk? He's the only one who probably knows a lot about you, besides Dave. You sighed and shifted to see the sleeping...shirtless...strider. You blushed madly seeing his warm bare chest. You two were entangled you wrapped in not only your blanket but his arms. You smiled at him and nuzzled into his chest. He felt this and blinked."morning sleeping beauty." You whispered. Your e/c eyes and his Ruby red ones starring back. "What time is it?" He asked "8:15" you replied "I have work today..." He groaned "mr.strider works?" You smirked "ya. Unlike my brothers I work." He said.

"Hey are you two awake?" John came in "...I'll just go make breakfast..." He then quickly left. Leaving you and Dave giggling. Before you knew it Dave was dressed and you were sitting up stretching an yawning "your brothers like me ya'know....like, like like me." You said "we'll next time they do something tell them you belong to Dave." He said kissing you on the lips before grabbing his stuff "see you later" he smiled at you and you waved. Then he left.

"So are you and Dave a thing?" John asked "I dunno..maybe." You answered him "cause if you are congrats." He smiled his adorably goofy smile.

The current time is 10am. John left you are now alone remembering Dave's kisses. You were in love with him but you made a rule:

NO FALLING FOR THE NEIGHBORS

Apparently you broke that rule. Getting sucked into your daydreams you didn't even realize someone was knocking on your door you stood up and went over to it. You opened it and

Dirk.

You invited him in with a smile. You noticed he had an upset look on his face. Almost as if he was hurt. "What's wrong?" you asked conceringly. "A-are you really with D-Dave?" He stuttered. "I don't know. I mean we kissed a few times but..." You sighed sitting next to him and hugging him. He hugged back and smiled softly. You pulled away and smiled at him. "I have go somewhere today you can come if you'd like." You said happily he nodded. You told him to wait a few you went to change your clothes. You were in your Free! Iwatobi Swim Club shirt/sweater and wearing an orange jacket. You then remembered that Jake helps your dad a lot so he's probably over there today you grabbed the plushie he left and you and dirk went to your crappy car.

"Sorry my car sucks." You said "it's fine." He smiled and looked at your sailor moon vinyl figure. "She's cute." He smiled "but not as cute as you.."

You blushed at his comment. "Th-thank you." You stuttered.

A 3 hour car ride. Current time is 1:12 you finally arrived at you dads. You hopped out the car and went to your dad's door. Dirk following behind you. You knock on the door and in seconds Jake opens it. "Hey Y/N...and Dirk?" He smiles. You always adored his British accent you thought it was adorable. You hugged him and he hugged you back. "You never call me anymore." He said "I should say the same to you." You said smirking.He rolled his eyes playfully and let the both of you inside. "Your dad's upstairs." He now sounded more upset. "Is everything alright?" Dirk asked "I'm fine dirk." He gave a fake smile. You walked upstairs to your dad's room where he'd be opened the door and closed it.

"Hey honey." He smiled sitting at his desk. "You wanted to give me something?" You asked smiling. "Ya..." He smiled and took out a box. "It's a bit late but here. It a house warming gift." He smiled you opened it and smiled softly. "I can't except this, it's the only thing you have left of mom." You said holding up her necklace. "She would've wanted you to have it." He smiled "oh daddy." You hugged him and shed a few tears. He smiled at you rubbing your back.

On the other side of door Dirk was listening "stalker much mister strider?" Jake asked causing Dirk to jump back a little "pfff nah. I'm just makin sure my girls fine." He said "your girl?" He questioned. "Uh ya." He said "mhm..." Jake raised an eyebrow.

Jakes POV

I started feeling weird. What's this new feeling....could it be

Jealousy?

~back to you~

You let go of your dad and smiled "thank you daddy. I love it." You smiled. "Now if you don't mind. May I get back to work?" He chuckled. You nodded and skipped out happily. "Heeyyyy dirk!" You cheered "hey Jake" you said like a child "hey y/n..are you ok?" Dirk asked "in fine. Ready to go?" You chimed. He nodded. "Bye daddy love you!" You yelled as you and Dirk were about to leave. "Bye honey!" He yelled back. Before you ran out the door you kissed Jake on the cheek. "Bye Jake! Make sure my dads ok!" You then ran to your car.

"Ya I'll make sure..." He smiled.

-in the car-

Dirk offered to drive and you gladly accepted. Right now you were jamming out to some really old songs.
You were laughing your butt off and so was he. Soon you two arrived at a gas station. You took your wallet and went in to get a snack while Dirk was paying for gas. You watched him pump gas and let your eyes wander off to other places. You blushed slightly taking a sip of your slurpee. "Whys your face red?" He asked "uuuuhhhh....I don't know.." You answered. "Mhm, so how do you know Jake?" He asked "he's like my brother we were bffs when we were little and still are." You smiled (friendzone)
He nodded.

You started feeling that feeling. The same feeling you felt with Dave. Oh no

This is bad
Don't do it.

"You don't look so good are you ok?" He asked

"Ok Dirk I have to admit I really like you. I enjoyed cuddling with you even if I didn't show it and now I feel like a bad person because I also like your brother Dave!" Then ran you back into the gas station bathroom like you ran to the bathroom with Dave.Once again hugging your knees.

You heard dirk knock on the door. "Hey y/n, come out please. Don't make me come in there and get you. People are starting to stare." He tried reasoning with you but you didn't budge "sorry y/n not here. Come again later." You said and he sighed. You heard the door open and footsteps to where you were. He then opened your stall door "let me guess it wasn't locked?" You asked he nodded. "Hey I think it's fine you like me. I mean who wouldn't. Look what I'm saying is that I like you too. And a lot." He then grabbed your grace gently so you were facing him and passionately kissed you. You quickly gave in. And enjoyed it. after a minute or 3 you heard a familiar voice. "You tow two* should got gate* get* a rum room*" Roxy Lalonde.
Dirk pulled away and smirked. "Maybe we should" he teased. "Ha ha very funny." You giggled and kissed him again. With Roxy taking pictures.
