"Perseus Jackson, you are officially the god of swordsmanship, loyalty, trust, and friendship."
"Ironic," Percy muttered under his breath.
Apollo snorted.
"You shall pick your godly name on your own."
"Can't it just be 'Percy'?" Percy interrupted.
"It could be, if you want it to be," Zeus said in irritation.
"Alright, then. That's solved."
Zeus sighed.
"Dismissed."
Percy beamed at Apollo, taking his hand as they began to walk.
"Your palace will probably be finished by tomorrow," Apollo informed him.
"Palace?" Percy asked incredulously.
"Of course. All gods have one," Apollo shrugged.
"Holy shit."
Apollo beamed.

The next day, Apollo and Percy sat in Percy's palace, celebrating.
"Should we get drinks?" Apollo suggested.
Percy stiffened slightly, plastering a smile on his face.
"Sorry, I don't like drinking," he said quickly.
"Oh, that's alright," Apollo assured him.
"Speaking of which... I don't mean to kill the mood, but I can tell you why I broke up with Annabeth. I think I'm ready," Oercy let out a shuddering sigh.
"Oh, okay," Apollo straightened up in interest.
"She tried to force me to drink alcohol. I said no, but she kept pushing it. Since we'd just turned twenty one, she took me to a bar and wanted me to drink, and I explained why I didn't want to, but she wouldn't stop," Percy explained grimly.
"Why is it that you don't like alcohol?" Apollo questioned gently.
"I didn't have the best step-father," Percy said slowly.
Apollo's eyes widened.
"Oh, I'm so sorry."
"Not your fault," Percy shrugged. "I just made a promise to myself to never drink alcohol because of that."
Apollo took Percy's hand in his, gently caressing it.
"Everything will be alright, my seashell. Trust me."
And it would be.

A/N: This fic has ended and my gods it was weird. I wrote this entire fic while sick (some while delirious) and don't even remember writing most of it.
Excuse bad writing, like I said, I was practically delirious.
