chap 15

My stay with Andrew flew faster than I imagined.

"I'm gonna miss you so much charlie,  I love you." Andrew said to me as I departed to go to the plane which will take me back to Korea.

After some hours I finally reach Korea.

I called for a cab, and I was back home.

I freshened up and ate.

I decided to call my men, making sure they knew I was back and work will resume immediately, and by that immediately I mean tomorrow.

I started to think about Jace again, then my mind clicked. I can go to Chin Chung's restaurant, I'll probably see him there.

I quickly changed.

I wore a big baggy shirt with some baggy jeans. I left my hair down.

I drove to the restaurant, and immediately I entered I saw him.

Serving food to a customer.

My heart skipped a beat, as he noticed my presence and turned to look at me.

I expected him a walk up to me and be like Charlie I've missed you and crap like that.

But guess what?, He didn't.

"May I show you your seat ma'am?." He said to me, before I could even answer he started walking away to show me my seat.

He didn't even act surprised to see me, honestly anyone would think we don't know each other.

He showed me my seat, and I sat there dum struck.

"What would you like to eat ma'am?" He asked in a blank and cold tone.

"I'll have my usual, ramen please" I say to him.

He takes down note of my order leave.

I was kinda sad he didn't notice or even act like he knew me.

After some time he came back with the food and served me and left.

After some time I finished my food, and I payed and left.

I decided to wait until Jace shift ended.

I stayed in my car for like 2 more hours, then I saw him come out.

He started walking on the side walk and I decided to join him.

"Shit, you scared, what the hell!" Jace says.

"Jace are you really gonna act like you don't know me??" I say to him.

"I don't know you Charlie!" He said in anger.

"Oo you don't know me?, But you just said my name!" I say getting angry.

Jace looked around and noticed people staring, gossiping, and looking intensely at them. So he dragged her to a quite and dark Ally.

"Look, I don't want to have anything to do with you any more Charles." Jace said calmly.

"Jace....." I try to say but stammered.

"Charlie I have a girlfriend" Jace says.

"And currently squatting with her for now." Jace says.

My heart broke, I thought he will be lying just to get me away but he looked so serious.

I didn't know when I started to cry, but I eventually did.

"Jace I'm sorryyyy,. I... I...I'm just so confused you or Andrew?, I don't know." I cried hugging Jace.

"Look, I've made that decision easy for you ba...I mean Charlie, I have a girlfriend so choose Andrew, he's a good guy" Jace says as he gently removes my hold from him and Left.

I felt devastated and headed to my car. I'm never gonna try again, I just need to focus on my work. That's all.

Jace POV

Departing from Charlie was hard, I still loved her, very much.

I don't have a girlfriend, I'm just squatting with one of my friends.

I looked at the sky from the balcony at home.

It was surely gonna rain, I go back into my room and fell on the bed as I drifted off to sleep.
