."Yes, actually he isn't feeling well, so I'm keeping him for a few days. Tell uncle not to worry," Taehyung said on the phone.
"Oh? How much you - whatever just take care of my hyung! Okay?" Jimin's voice was threatening on the other side of the call.
"Of course. You don't need to worry. Bye!" Taehyung replied, cutting the call abruptly. He had to inform Jimin that Jungkook was unwell to avoid any disruptions during this critical time.
"Done, sir!" the man said, wiping the area of Taehyung's chest before standing up.
Taehyung nodded, paid him, and the man left. With a smile adorning his face, he headed upstairs with the food he had prepared. But his smile quickly faded when he opened the door and saw Jungkook crying.
Jungkook sat on the bed, his body racked with sobs. The sight of him broke Taehyung's heart, but he steeled himself, knowing he needed to handle the situation delicately. He approached the bed, setting the tray of food on the bedside table.
"Rose," Taehyung said softly, his voice a mixture of concern and authority. "You need to eat something."
Jungkook didn't look up at him. He wiped his eyes and turned his face to the other side. Taehyung sighed heavily, moving to the side where Jungkook had turned his face. He sat in front of Jungkook, and the man turned his face away again.
Taehyung pulled out a dark red rose. "Happy Valentine's Day, my love," he said, offering the flower. The dark red rose, symbolizing deep, intense love, matched Taehyung's own feelings perfectly.
Jungkook glanced at the rose but didn't take it, turning his face away again. Taehyung placed the rose beside him. "Eat up, love. You need to have your medicine."
When Jungkook didn't respond, Taehyung's patience began to wear thin. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!" he demanded, his voice low but filled with suppressed anger.
Jungkook still didn't turn towards him. Taehyung's frustration boiled over. He climbed fully onto the bed, gripping Jungkook's cheeks with one hand, forcing him to meet his gaze. "Aren't you getting a bit too much now?" he asked, his tone tinged with irritation.
Jungkook looked at him with a blank expression, his cheeks squished by Taehyung's hand.
"Just eat. The. Food!" Taehyung said, his voice dangerously low.
"Or what?" Jungkook whispered, "Will you also kill me like your previous murders?"
Taehyung's eyes showed a flash of hurt at Jungkook's words. "I would never! Why are you being like this? Just leave it! I'm still the Taehyung you love!"
Jungkook's eyes filled with fresh tears. "You're not. The Taehyung I love wouldn't hurt people. The Taehyung I love isn't a murderer."
"Rose..." Taehyung's voice faltered. "Just eat, my love. You will get sick." He spoke softly, taking his hand back from Jungkook's cheek, trying to hide the tremor in his voice.
