Chapter 14

Nanuq POV.

Tarrlok! You can't keep us in here forever!"

My eyes fluttered open from hearing my sister yell and hit on something hard. I was laying on my side on a cold surface,wondering how I got here. I sat up slowly from where I was laying,using my arms to help myself up. I winced at how sore my body was from being thrown around by Tarrlok's bloodbending. I rubbed my eyes waiting for my vision to adjust to what I was looking at. I looked down and rubbed my fingers across the surface of the floor.

The entire box is made out of metal.

It also didn't seem to be the most spacious as well. It seems that it also slipped my mind that I was no longer tied up. It made me wonder how Tarrlok got us up here? Korra looked down at me and bent down to feel my right side of my face. I brought my hands up to feel both sides of hers. Her and I were both cut up from the fight with Tarrlok.

"Are you alright?" She asked worried.
"I'm fine. Are you?"
"No. Do you see what we're in?" She asked standing up.
"Is this what paradise is?" I said standing up.

Korra looked at me with disappointment.

"Not the time Nanuq."
"Shush. I know what we're in. We're in some metal box cramped enough to barely fit two people."
"Okay,but where?"
"I don't know. Probably some remote location outside of Republic City where no one would bother to come look." I said.
"How was Tarrlok able to take us to some cabin in the mountains?"Korra asked confused.
"He probably had enough money saved up to purchase the property. Or maybe....just maybe....this place was once abandoned." I said.

She looked at me like I said something crazy.

"What? It could happen."
"Well however it happened,we need to figure a way out of here."

Air Temple Island. Time is Dawn,Tenzin POV.

I woke up to Meelo crawling over my face to answer the phone.

"Who is this? It's six in the morning! This better be important!" Meelo said annoyed.

I took the phone from him and stood up from the bed,still groggy from waking up so early.

"Councilman Tenzin here." I said groggily.
"Tenzin. It's Saikhan. Equalists attacked City hall and kidnapped Avatar Korra."
"What?"

I couldn't believe what I heard. I was in disbelief as to what she was doing there late last night?

Perhaps to talk to Tarrlok last night about arresting her friends?

I shook my head to regain composure and answered Saikhan.

"I'll be there as soon as I can!"

I hung up the phone and went to the closet to put my robes on.

"What's going on dear?" Pema asked.
"Equalists attacked City Hall last night and kidnapped Korra."
"What? Kidnapped her?" She said shocked.
"How can she have been kidnapped?" Meelo said.
"I'm not sure Meelo,but one way or another I'm gonna bring her back."

I got my robes out and put them on as fast as I could. I grabbed my shoes and slipped them onto my feet. Before I left out the door I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Dear,make sure your bring her back safe and sound!" She said.
"I will."

I gave her a kiss and went to the stables to grab Oogie out.

"Yip yip!"

As I flew over the city towards my destination,thoughts ran through my head. Why did Korra go to City Hall last night? What was the reason to Equaliats being there as well? Once I got to City Hall I landed Oogie and got off. I walked in through the back entrance and saw a few people from the press taking photos of the damages. I looked in front to see Tarrlok getting healed. His hair was out of place and his clothes were tattered from what they usually look like.
