Chapter 9: Ooooo! Someone's in trouble

Authors Note: Alright! Figured I would leave it at that since I didn't want to drag it on but please enjoy. Also, it's not edited so I'll probably do that tomorrow just wanted to give you guys the full chapter. I'll try to make the next one longer.

Third POV

The intimidating aura cracked around the room, blanketing murderous intent as it wrapped suffocating around everyone's throats. Deep growls continued from Raiju, a single blue eye piercing those in the room over his shoulder.

His wings are in a constant state of fluctuation, adjusting in accordance with Sesshomaru's movements in his arms. Feeling Sesshomaru's legs digging up into his sides, Raiju could only hold onto his love while ignoring the small pain that came with the constant jabs.

Rei, who hurriedly entered after feeling the aura lash out into the hallway, kneeled with her head bowed as the guards followed her lead, forcing the two who had disregarded their orders on their knees effortlessly, keeping their heads and by association their eyes down.

The two elders of the Earth and Lighting clans struggled with the guards, yelling about unhanding them as they were forced down on their knees with their heads smacked into the floor as the stifling aura of Raiju caused them to finally hold their tongues.

"I won't ask again. I didn't give anyone permission to enter, and yet the ones who dare enter without my say are still in my sight."

The two dragon guards bowed their heads in shame, "We apologize, My Lords. We told the elders they couldn't enter at this time and any issues they have will be addressed at a later time. We have failed you; we shall take the elders away on your orders." The guards bowed their heads as they hauled up the two as they began to protest once they were dragged from the room on Raiju's silent order. Rei moved to stand after the guards left but was stopped before she could exit and close the door.

"Rei."

A shiver ran down her spine at the killer intent in Lord Raiju"s voice still, but she quickly turned and bowed with a quick, "Yes, Lord Raiju."

"Bring me an Obi that matches Sesshomaru's kimono, along with a bowl of warm water with a towel. Be quick about it."

With a short bow, Rei hastily left the room. The soft snap of the closed door allowed the barrier to become active, leaving Raiju and Sesshomaru alone once more.

Raiju's POV

Letting my aura subside as the door shuts behind Rei, allowing the barrier to reactivate on its own. I let out a faint sigh as I unfurry my wings slightly, looking down at my beloved. Removing my hand from his head, I tenderly moved him away from my chest as I tilted his head up so I could see his face. 

My eyes softened as Sesshomaru opened his eyes looking up at me, the foggy haze from before was gone, being replaced with sharpen eyes of his inner beast.

"Oh, my love."

Slipped past my lips in a deep rumble as my dragon refused self-restraint as an unfulfilled fury stirred within me. Rather than fight I rest our heads together, allowing my inner dragon control to comfort our love.
