'I finally found the location..."The Lair '' as it's known to the surrounding villages, rumored to have the one I'm seeking. It has been centuries since the last of the dragons disappeared though you can still find only a few livings in solitary. Most think only a few are left but from what I gathered from my spies there is a colony of dragons just beyond this barrier. I must find a way to get in, if I can trick the leader into helping me get the jewel, it will be much easier to complete my goals. Heh, I hope my offering will be suitable for them.'
The said 'offering' wiggled about under his baboon pelt was none other than the human child, Rin, who Naraku took while her lord was away and Jaken was distracted, she was tied up to become an offering to the dragon leader.
Raiju's POV
Slowly blinking as the morning sun shines into my eyes, groaning as I raise my hand to block the morning sun from hitting my face any longer than it has. Looking over into the view of the gardens realizing I didn't shut the doors last night after my late-night tea and snack. While silently listening to the sounds of nature, I berate myself for being so forgetful before sighing and getting up to start my day.
Walking towards the connecting springs, I swiftly stripped off my nightwear while letting my hair out of its braid. A soft sigh of relief left my lips while submerging myself into the warm water, leaning back the rocks with my arms spread resting next to me.
'This day better not get drawn-out.'

Small time skip...
After eating my lunch and my meeting with the clan heads in the banquet room, I retreated to my office to work on paperwork that seemed never ending. Resisting the urge to burn the documents I was currently reading when a knock at my door saved the detestable papers.
A panther demon maid, named Rei opened the door after giving permission, stating a wander would like a meeting with him. Sighing softly, I agreed before sending her ahead to lead them to the banquet room.
To my disgruntlement at the time, the meeting was a misuse of my time.
"Who the hell are you?" I questioned, sitting down in my seat and accepting the tea from Rei.
'This isn't what I wanted to deal with today.' Mentally sighing as I take in the lowly spider half demon in front of me that seems to have a human child bound in front of his feet looking at me ready to cry.
