Adrien Victus X Fem! Shep. (No Reapers AU, Lemon, SpIcY)
I first met Adrien through a mutual friend while out one night at a club on the Citadel. My friend Nihlus had said he had a surprise for me, leading me to a seedy establishment where we sat at a table already occupied by another turian. Nihlus then mysteriously disappeared, leaving me alone with the stranger, who turned out to be Adrien. To my surprise, Adrien and I hit it off immediately, getting quite intoxicated together that evening. The night culminated in us returning to his private apartment, where we became intimately entangled until dawn. From then on, Adrien and I maintained an on-and-off casual relationship, never fully committing to something more serious.
That is, until today.
Adrien's teeth graze my neck, his growls vibrating through me. His amber eyes pierce my being as he nibbles down my exposed skin. There's an unusual intimacy to his touch today - the way his hands linger on my chest, how he drags his fangs along my throat. "You okay?" I blurt absentmindedly, gently stroking the underside of his jaw to reciprocate his intimate gestures.
Taken aback, he pauses and then nods, asking in a voice heavy with unspoken words, "What am I to you?" His talons threaten to shred my clothes as his body arches against mine, radiating wanton desire.
The question fell upon me heavily. What was he to me? What did that mean? I moved my hands to cup his angular face, peering deep into the golden pools of his eyes. "What do you want to be to me?" I heard my own voice tremble. His mandibles fluttered in an unsure motion as his ministrations stopped, his hands resting on my hips.
"I was afraid of that," the lithe turian said, his voice heavy with emotion as he gently tried to extricate himself from my embrace. With a mix of reluctance and hesitation, I let go of him and observed as he turned his muscular back to me, his talons coming up to his face in a contemplative gesture. "It's complicated," he began, his voice trailing off with uncertainty. "I'm not sure whether or not I should tell you. It could mess this all up."
Adrien's words reverberated in my mind, carrying an underlying significance and hinting at a yearning for a deeper connection within our complicated bond. As tears began to well up in my eyes, I turned my head away from him. "I've been hurt before," I confessed softly, feeling the weight of my words as I covered my mouth.
As he turns back to face me, his mandibles hang slack. His beautiful voice reaches me again, "I know what happened. I still want to try, if you're willing." Returning to me, he gently places his fingertip under my chin, encouraging me to look up. "I would never force my affection on you, nor would I ever force you to care for me." He pauses, taking a sharp breath as his features scrunch into a frown. "I would be lying if I said I did not desire something deeper."
Emotions swelled within me, but only silence escaped my parted lips. Desperately trying to convey my inner turmoil, I averted my gaze from his piercing eyes, fixating instead on his wording. "If you want something deeper, why me? Wouldn't a turian lover be easier?" My words came out harsher than intended, but the truth had to be said. Nervously, I traced circles on the rough skin of his hands, then met his gaze, getting lost in the depth of his soulful eyes.
Releasing a sigh, he cast his eyes to the side. His mandibles flared almost as if in disbelief, but only momentarily. Then he brought his forehead to mine - a romantic turian gesture, a kiss. "My eyes and desires only apply to you," he rumbled, his subvocals reverberating into me. His honeyed words, beautiful and somehow forbidden on his silvered tongue, caressed my ears. Worn talons danced along the naked flesh of my clavicle, his purring loud in the quiet apartment - a warm, deep and comforting sound. I bit my lip, shoving aside the wave of arousal that threatened to consume me. While his words were indeed endearing, I had heard this before.
"I know that look," he says, his voice dangerously low. "Love, all I'm asking for is a chance - a chance to show you how good it can be." These final words chip away at my resolve, causing my armor to crumble as I relinquish my heart to him. Tears that once threatened to fall now stream freely down my flushed cheeks, my breath catching in my throat as I struggle to find the words.
Instead of speaking, I grab him by the cowl, bringing his mouth to meet mine in a blissful, unspoken kiss. My hands caress his rough hide, drawing out the most beautiful sounds from him. Pulling back, I avert my eyes before whispering, "If this is what you want, I trust you." My voice trembles, barely audible against the musk of his presence.
Adrien's golden, enrapturing eyes seem to stare into me. His talons return my gentle caress as he runs them through my hair. He is intoxicating, like something out of a deep, forgotten dream - one too wondrous to dare speak into existence.
Rather than a passionate, wild night, we held each other tenderly, savoring the intimacy of our newfound connection. He was mine, and I was his, until the end. The evening was filled with laughter and easy conversation as we opened up to one another, finally letting our guards down after so long.
