"hey, chat. for today's stream we have a very special guest, my girlfriend, haley," brady says to the webcam. i smile, waving toward the camera.
"so today's stream is going to be a little different. we're going to do a q&a but haley is going to answer or read the questions," he says while logging onto his game.
he opens the chat on the right side of the screen so i could see.
i read the first question i see, "when did you guys start dating?" i repeat the question. "around a week or two, but we we've been friends for a while."
brady nods but he's mainly focus on his game.
i continue answering question until i get a little bored. brady offer to let me try playing but i have never played fortnite before so i wasn't confident.
he ran me through the basic controls to move and shoot, blah blah blah.
we swapped seats so i was closer to the keyboard and mouse.
less than a minute into the game i was already killed. brady laughs at me and i shoot him a glare causing him to raise his hands in defense.
i start building shit cos apparently that's what your supposed to do.
"oh fuck! who the hell-" i scream when someone shoots me while i was building. brady laughs hysterically from his seat.
"this game is rigged. it's so stupid," i say to the camera, laughing. i swap back with brady and he takes over.
"i think you just suck, hales," he laughs. i leaned foward, clicking a bunch of random keys on his keyboard trying to mess up his game. he swats my hands away as i continue clicking.
i stop when i see his character die. i chuckle while he gives me unamused look.
"oh i forgot to ask you if you're going to participate in the fundraiser thing," i ask him.
our town has this fundraiser event that raises money for the community. it's like a gala/dance it's really fun. residents of the town are encouraged to dress up and attend while having an auction or something like that and the teenagers were supposed to help set it up. i didn't take part last year but i was considering to this year.
"yeah that would be fun. since it's our last few months in lacey before we go off to college," he says as i agree. connor and sab were joining too so it could be our last thing as a group before we all head off to college.
