To The Other Side

Part 4: The Trio Original (TO)

Saturday morning, at 8.00 pm, someone comes towards Gempa's room but he chooses to leave. Last night, Gempa had a problem with his homework so he had to stay up late until the problem was solved. That's why he is still sleeping; usually, he's the one who wakes earlier than his brothers. He wakes up around 4 am but this time is different. The one who went to Gempa's room was Taufan but he didn't want to bother him so he left his younger brother to sleep. Taufan doesn't dislike Gempa much other than his other younger brother but hates Halilintar more. He and Halilintar often argue and Gempa is like a peacemaker while their younger brother doesn't like it much and Duri usually covers his ears when the fighting gets too hot.

Flashback...

 Back in primary school, those three were 12 years old, they're popular because of their powers but some of them envy TO.  

"Hey, loser! Where the hell are you going?" - Mark (bully)

Taufan stops walking as the bullies Mark and Adam walk closer to him he walks back away, fearing what they had planned for him until he is against the lockers.

"Why walk backward? Scared?" The bullies ask as the two of them laugh. Deep inside, Taufan did feel scared but just acted as if he was brave but not. "What do you want?"  Taufan asked, they snorted, "Duuuuuuuuuuuh~ Isnt it obvious? Our homework? Did you complete it?"  Taufan opened his back and handed them two papers. "There. Now stop bothering me." Taufan said as he pushed them and walked toward his class.

When recess time, all the brothers gather in the canteen. "Where is Quake?"  Duri asks, "Probably busy with 'President' thing in his office." Halilintar said. "Why tho?" Blaze asks as he shoves the food inside his mouth. "Well there are upcoming events since school is almost finished and I think they are probably discussing it," Solar said. 

In class, all students were given a History test based on what they had learned. "You have one hour to complete this test. Those who finish it first, there a prize that I will give." All students try their hard to finish it but since the question is hard it will take time to finish it. 15 minutes passed, and Taufan was stuck in section B which is where he had to write the answer. However, he still didn't because it was hard. Then something hit his head luckily it didn't hurt since it was just a paper. He looks at who the hell throwing the paper at him then he realizes it is Mark but he ignores it. Mark continued doing it until someone snatched the paper from his hand and he was surprised to see that the teacher was the one who snatched it and opened the paper. "Mark, if you do it again, I will not hesitate to call your parents." the teacher said with a serious tone, and guess what? The fucker face is pale and Taufan giggles, feeling satisfied as the bully gets what he deserves.

 But the story didn't end there, so when school finished, Taufan took all his things and walked out from his classroom to in front of the school gates. He is supposed to wait for his other brothers because they're always going back and back together. As he walks into the school corridor. someone grabs Taufan and locks him in one of the classrooms. He felt his heart pounding, as he scanned the place 'It looks like the abandoned classroom', he thought.

Someone comes from behind him and pushes him to fall on the floor. He looks around who did it and he hears someone giggle from the dark. Three of them walk out from the dark and reveal their faces none other than Mark, Adam, and a girl. "Taufan meets our friend, Ashley. She is good at torturing people like you." Adam said. "Fuck yeah! Since you were looking for trouble in class earlier so I came up with a plan to teaching you. Hahaha! This gonna be fun." Mark continue. "I just bought a new hair iron and I want to test whether it works but that means I need 'someone' volunteer to test it." She said as she grinned then she said,"If only have a socket or switch to turn this on, maybe I already do it." 

"Here have a switch! Try this one!" Adam said as he pointed switch. Ashley plugged in and walked towards Taufan. Taufan wants to run but he gets held by the boys. "Let's test if works." The girl puts the hair iron starting with his legs, feeling his skin burning he screams in pain but someone quickly holds his mouth tightly. "Shh," she said as she put one finger on her mouth, "You don't want to draw attention to the others right? So don't or else it's get worse." She said with a threatening voice, tears started to show as he tried to control his breath. The girl does it again and again at Taufan's feet and of course, he screams begging to stop but not avail. Those bullies laugh so hard. The girl uses a hair iron on her hair as she continues to giggle. 

Meanwhile with other brother already waiting for Taufan in front of the school's main gate. Gempa already felt anxious, "where he could be? It's already been 20 minutes." he said. It caught Halilintar's attention, he looked like Gempa and he could see how worried he was since both of them were close. As the oldest brother, he feels something is not right like Taufan must be in trouble or maybe something else. "Gempa come follow me and the others stay here. don't go anywhere." He said as he grabbed Gempa's hand and quickly ran inside the school building to find Taufan.

Gempa and Halilintar search every building in their school and every classroom in case Taufan is in there but nothing. They gasped as they already tried using their energy but mostly Gempa since he can't run as fast as Hali (he uses his power to find Taufan). "Where that airhead could be?!" frustrated Halilintar. Gempa kneels and puts his hand on the floor. Halilintar looks at Gempa knowing he used his power to find their missing brother. Gempa closes his eyes and tries to focus. He heard footsteps and it seemed not one person but more, "We're not alone in this school, and so is Taufan." he said and Halilintar held Gempa's shoulder and asked, "What happened and where is he?". Gempa looks down, "Upstairs and somewhere in one of those classrooms." Halilintar uses his 'lightning speed' and goes upstairs with Gempa following behind.

Back with Taufan, he lying on the floor as the torture continues. He screams again when he feels his skin burning as tears continually roll down his cheeks. 'God, please help me.' he thought. As the bullies want to use hair iron on his face the doors suddenly break and with a red flashing light the bullies is on the ground. The bullies feel pissed off and try to attack the person but stopped in their tracks when they met furious Halilintar. His ruby eyes glowed and he held lightning swords as he wanted to beat the hell out of them, Gempa stood between Halilintar and the bullies and said, "Enough! We take care of you guys tomorrow. Hali let's bring Taufan to the hospital" Gempa carried Taufan on his back while Halilintar snorted and casually walked away but Gempa stopped his track and met the bully's eyes, "This isn't over, and soon you guys will be punished for what you did."  he said and walked away. The bullies feel fear for once in their lives because Gempa's intimidating look and piercing eyes are similar to Halilintar's. They know that they're in big trouble. Ever since that day, the bullies get removed from the school and never see them again.

End of the flashback...

Gempa rubs his eyes and he slowly wakes up from sleeping. Once his vision is clear, he looks at the clock what time it is and his eyes widen when he realizes he slept for too long. Noon. He quickly changed his clothes and straight to the living room and when he was there he didn't like the scene he seeing now,

"He should wake up early to do his job! Not just sleeping!"

"Ugh let him rest, Hali. He's tired! I mean what do you do in this house anyway?! NOTHING!"

"HEY OF COURSE I DID! HE SUPPOSE TO DO HIS JOB AS A BROTHER INSTEAD OF SLEEPING!"

"SHUT UP YOU PIECE OF - UGHHHHH JUST LEAVE HIM BE! YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!"

"HEY DON'T WALK FROM ME!! LISTEN TO ME! I AM THE OLDEST HERE!"

That's how the day went. Everyday. The other siblings just watch it from afar.
