Sana's POV

It's been a while since Tzuyu and I got back together.

Since we have our daughter now, he insisted on making us stay in their house.

I'm not against it, neither did my mother because she knew we have to raise Sally together.

Now, We're living together and he mostly spend his free time with Sally at home.

This normal life went on for about a year and Tzuyu and I talked about getting Sally in kindergarten because she's now old enough to start learning.

Tzuyu and I enrolled her to a kindergarten and Tzuyu would take her to school every day.

We are not that worried about her because she's with Mina and Chaeyoung's son, so she has a friend.

"Babe, I'm taking Sally home." Tzuyu said over the phone.

"Sure... Is she already out?" I asked.

"Yes... The school nurse called me... They said she passed out while they're on break." He said.

"Is she alright?" I asked worriedly.

"Yes, she's with me now... I'll take her home so she could rest... I'll also stay with her." He said.

"Okay... I'll go home early too." I said.

After I hung up, I fastened my pace of working and finished everything after lunch.

When I arrived home, I saw Tzuyu and Sally on the bed. Tzuyu was gently stroking Sally's hair while Sally is sleeping.

"How is she?" I asked and sat down next to Sally.

"She has a high fever... I already made her take her meds." He said.

I sighed and kissed their foreheads.

"Daddy..." Sally said and hugged Tzuyu.

"Hmm? Do you want something?" Tzuyu asked.

"My head hurts." She said and cried.

"Okay... Don't cry... It'll hurt more if you do." Tzuyu said and messaged her head.

Sally immediately stopped crying and just hugged Tzuyu like he is her pillow.

After a few minutes, Sally fell asleep again and Tzuyu and I made dinner while she's still asleep.

When she woke up, we fed her and we also had dinner.

"Is my granddaughter still sick?" Papa asked while checking on Sally.

"Papa..." Sally said and reach out for him.

"Oh, my baby girl... Your head still hurts?" He asked.

"A little..." Sally answered.

"She doesn't want to take her medicine." Tzuyu said while patiently waiting for Sally to say yes to him so he could give her medicine.

"Why not? Don't you want to play with Papa?" His grandfather asked.

"I want to..." Sally answered.

"Then you should take your medicine... It's just one gulp... Then we'll see tomorrow if we can play." He said.

Sally then nodded and opened her mouth so Tzuyu could give her medicine.

"That's a good girl... Drink some water." Tzuyu said and gave her bottle.

Sally immediately sipped half of it to get rid of the taste of the medicine and hugged her grandfather.

"That's it... We're going to play soon if you continue that..." His grandfather said.

Sally fell asleep early and Tzuyu and I continued working on our laptop at night.

"Babe... Are you alright?" Tzuyu asked while I'm staring at Sally who just moved a little from her bed.

"Y-yeah..." I said and tried to focus on my work.

"She's going to be fine..." He said.

I nodded and closed my laptop because I couldn't work even a bit.

I felt him get out of the bed and he turned all the lights off before going back next to me.

"Come here... You need some rest..." He said and pulled me to lie down closer to him.

I laid my head on his shoulder and hugged him.

"I'm worried Tzuyu... Every time she's sick... She would always pass out... I mean... It's not normal anymore... She's always sick..." I said.

"Let's get her to the doctor tomorrow morning... Just to make you feel at ease, okay?" He asked and I nodded.

Just a few minutes after we fell asleep, Sally woke up crying because of her headache and Tzuyu massaged her head again so she could sleep again.

But every time Tzuyu stops massaging her, she would wake up again and cry louder.

Tzuyu pulled out an all nighter because he didn't want me to stay up all night.

The next morning, we took Sally to the doctor and they ran some tests on her.

"We have some bad news..." Her doctor said.

I held Tzuyu's hand and he caressed my hand to calm me down.

"We found a huge tumor in her head... And this causes her sickness and headaches... We can perform a surgery to remove the tumor, but it can risk her life... Considering her age... And her condition... Her body will have a hard time... If she had a successful surgery... She'll have a hard time recovering..." Her doctor said.

My tears fell down on my cheeks and Tzuyu was just staring on a random direction.

"If we don't deal with this now, the tumor progresses leaving her with only 3 months... But if we have a surgery... She might not make it... And there's a very low chance of surviving..." The doctor said.

"We understand... We'll think about it first..." Tzuyu said.

The doctor smiled and Tzuyu and I left her clinic.

Sally and Papa were waiting outside the clinic, and they immediately stood up when we came out.

"How was it?" Papa asked.

"Let's go, Sally... Let's have a picnic!" Tzuyu managed to smile amidst the news we got.

Papa immediately knew there's something wrong, so he just gave my arm a light squeeze as he smiled.

We went to a picnic ground and Tzuyu spent his time with Sally all throughout the picnic.

When we got home, he helped Sally get ready for bed and when she fell asleep, he lied down next to me without his smile.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"If you'll ask me... I want to do everything to save her... But if she can't fight... I'll just have those 3 months left with her the best moments of her life." He said.

"I'm thinking of the same thing..." I said.

He held my hand tight and wrapped his arms around me.

I couldn't stop myself from crying and I just let every tear out while hugging him.
