Sana's POV
Seeing Tzuyu and Sally together made my heart so happy and sad at the same time.
Tzuyu couldn't remember us, and Sally kept calling her father.
But I couldn't do anything about it. It's better this way.
"Good morning, Ms. Minatozaki." Tzuyu greeted me with a smile as I entered the meeting room in his company.
The employees here knows me as his girlfriend, but ever since I left, I guess they already knew we broke up.
"Good morning." I said.
"Please... Have a seat." He said and gestured at the chair next to him.
I nodded and sat down next to him.
"So... Let's start with these conditions... Are we still doing the same contract?" He asked.
"With the same conditions?" I asked and he nodded.
"Did you review the files?" I asked.
"Of course..." He said.
"Read the conditions..." I said.
"First... The moment you sign that contract... That means... It's a lifetime partnership with the company... Second... The company will be serving the pastries in the cafeteria every day... That also means... I get to have a taste of the yummy cupcakes every day... And lastly... I'll ask you out on a date..." He said in a confident tone, but the last sentence he said made him blush and look down.
"You want to ask me out on a date?" I asked and he nodded.
"I'll think about it first..." I said.
"If this is about your daughter, I'll take responsibility... I also noticed that you're not married... So... I'll be the child's father..." He said with all sincerity.
I was so surprised for hearing he same conditions when we first made this contract and I somehow knew he already matured by the way he wanted to take responsibility of our daughter.
"I'll still think about it..." I said and he nodded.
"I hope I could get a chance..." He said and handed me a copy of the contract.
I took the folder and left without having eye contact with him.
This should be a dream... He must've updated the copy when we were still together and removed those conditions.
"Sana!" Mina called me before I enter the elevator.
I turned around and she walked towards me.
"How was the meeting?" She asked.
"Are you sure he doesn't know anything?" I asked.
"Of course... We cleared things out... Chaeyoung looked at every file he has... Even in his computer." She said.
"Did you remove these from our previous contract?" I asked and let her read the conditions.
"Chaeyoung told me about removing those..." She said.
"Then he must've put it back... But how did he know the same exact conditions in the same exact order?" I asked.
"Maybe it's time to open your heart to him..." She said.
He then went out of the meeting room and looked at me with a smile before going in his office.
"What if he gets mad at me for not telling him about our daughter? And for me leaving him?" I asked.
"He won't... Tzuyu matured... He's not the kid you know anymore... Trust me... He deserves to know that he is the father of your daughter." She said.
Thinking about those words, I realized that Mina is right, Sally deserves to feel her father's love and Tzuyu deserves to love her daughter.
But I still feel uneasy. Tzuyu just forgot all of his memories, it hasn't been a month, and I'm giving him this responsibility?
I need to think about it.
Days later, I've never stopped thinking about what Mina said, and when I got the courage to tell Tzuyu, I went to their house and found his grandfather in the pool area having his cup of coffee.
"Sana... It's been a while." He said and hugged me.
Being in his arms made me remember so many good memories, and his smile resembles Tzuyu's smile.
"How are you, dear?" He asked.
"I'm doing good..." I said.
"Well... I wish Tzuyu was the same..." He said.
"How was he?" I asked.
"Still having nightmares... But sometimes... It's about you..." He said.
"About me?" I asked.
"His mind doesn't remember you... But his heart and body does... The way he sleeps at night... His body thinks he is still with you... Also, he's always going to your shop... It's like muscle memory... But he doesn't know..." He said.
"Papa..." Tzuyu said when he came out to the pool area.
"Have some breakfast, Tzu." He said and Tzuyu nodded.
"Good morning, Ms. Minatozaki... What brings you here?" He asked and sat down beside me like he usually does when we were still together.
I then looked at his grandfather and he smiled at me.
"She just came to talk to me... Have breakfast..." His grandfather said and poured him a cup of coffee.
"Eat with me..." Tzuyu said while looking at me.
"I already had breakfast." I said.
"Please... Have anything you want..." He said and started eating.
His grandfather just nodded with a smile while watching Tzuyu eat his breakfast.
Tzuyu is already in his suit and he's going to the company after he eat his breakfast.
He did mature in looks, and he's not that childish anymore.
He's also a lot muscular than before, and this made him look like a real man.
When he left, I finally got to release a sigh that I didn't know I was holding.
"You have to know something important..." I told his grandfather.
"And that is?" He asked.
"Tzuyu and I have a daughter..." I said and he smile widely.
"I knew you're going to tell the truth..." He said.
"You know?" I asked.
"I can't let you go unprotected... The Chongs are after you... Elkie is so jealous of you because Tzuyu loves you... That's why they're trying to get rid of you... And I know... If Tzuyu accidentally knows about you and you can't go back... He'd go manic..." He explained.
"I want to tell Tzuyu... But... I don't know if he can accept us..." I said.
"You can tell him... Tzuyu knows how to handle himself now... He barely asks for help with unfamiliar things... He can handle this..." He said.
I smiled at his words and we spent the whole day catching up and talking about Tzuyu. And when it's almost dinner, I was about to leave, but stopped by the kitchen to drink some water.
I saw Tzuyu in there and he was holding a knife.
I don't know what he was thinking but he raised his left hand looking at his wrist.
"Tzuyu!" I said and took the knife off his hands before hugging him tight.
I felt his hands on my back and the familiar body embracing me made me tear up.
"Don't do it, Tzuyu... I still love you..." I said and he smiled.
He pulled away and cupped my cheeks making me look at him.
"Who are you in my life, Sana?" He asked.
