Chapter 25

Sana's POV

It's been a month since Sally died, and it's only been a week since Tzuyu forgot everything.

Good thing is his childish antics makes me happy for a while every day, and that's the highlight of my day.

I'm always waking up in his arms with his cheeky smile and his kisses all around my face.

"Tzuyu... You're driving?" I asked when I saw him got out of the driver seat and his bodyguards and driver was not with him.

"Don't you trust me?" He asked.

"I do... But..." I said and thought of a phrase that I could say and wouldn't hurt his feelings.

"I have so many things to tell you, Sana..." He said.

"We can just talk about it like we normally do..." I said.

"This is different... So... Trust me?" He asked and I just nodded.

He then opened the door and helped me get in the passenger seat. When I got to sit down, he put the seatbelt on for me and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Thank you... For trusting me..." He said and kissed me before going to the driver seat.

He then drove for about 20 minutes and we arrived at a mansion-like house.

He led us inside and went to the dining area where a romantic dinner was set up.

"Tzu... What is this?" I asked.

"A dinner... For my beautiful girlfriend..." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Just because..." He said.

"Just because?" I asked.

"Do we need a reason to have dinner that I personally cooked myself... And I set up the table on my own... I did everything on my own... I spent days cleaning this house..." He said innocently making me laugh at him.

"No... We don't need any reason... And I would definitely enjoy this dinner that was set up by you..." I said.

"Let's start then..." He said and pulled a chair for me.

We then had dinner and even if the food was already cold because he needed to fetch me from work, it still tastes delicious.

"Babe... I have something to tell you..." He said while looking at me.

"And that is?" I asked.

He took a deep breath and stood up from his seat and knelt down beside me.

"I know this decision of mine is so stupid... But I think I'm done pretending... I don't want to lie to you anymore..." He said making me nervous.

"Tzu... You're making me so nervous right now." I said.

He held both my hands and kissed them.

"February 27... When I woke up... I didn't loose any of my memories..." He said making me gasp.

"What?! You should've told me!" I said.

"I know... But I thought of it before Sally even died... If I keep you distracted from Sally... You'll move on faster... And it actually worked... You've been brighter since days after Sally's death... But I don't want to pretend anymore... I feel like I'm making you a fool... Which was never my intention... All I want is for you to have a smile every day... Even just for a while... Sana... I'm really sorry... Please... Accept my apology..." He said.

My tears fell on my cheeks and he immediately wiped them off.

"Babe... Even if you don't say sorry... I'll still be with you... I actually need to thank you... Because you were the reason why I smile every day... And we promised Sally, right? We'll be together and have more kids for her? Tzu... All I need is you to fulfill those promises... And I'm not even upset... I'm actually happy that you didn't lose your memories... Because I don't need to hide this pain... Because I know you can understand me better now..." I said.

He smiled and kissed my hand again.

"I'm really sorry... I love you..." He said and pulled me in a hug.

I kissed his cheek and hugged him back.

When we broke the hug, he then grabbed something from the drawer near us and looked at me with a smile.

"We have promises to fulfill... Right?" He asked and I nodded.

"Let's start with this one... Will you marry me, Sana?" He asked as he opened the box containing a ring with diamonds around the ring.

Happy tears then flowed and I nodded as I gave my left hand to him.

He slid the ring on my finger and pulled me in a kiss.

"You don't know how happy you made me feel tonight." I said.

He smiled and pulled me in a tight hug.

We cleaned up and he told me that we'll stay the night here.

"Would this house be alright with you after we got married?" He asked.

"It's more than enough... But... Don't sell the other one... It's like... My sanctuary of Sally's memories..." I said.

"I will never sell that house..." He said.

After getting ready for bed, I couldn't help but stare at the ring on my finger.

I went to the balcony and stared at the stars while waiting for Tzuyu to finish in the bathroom.

"She would really love to see your smile right now..." Tzuyu said as he leans on the door frame.

I looked at him and saw him with a glass of wine on his left hand and a bottle of wine on his right.

"Having a drink tonight?" I asked as I walked towards him.

"Yes... No... Actually... This is for you..." He said and gave the wine glass to me and poured some in it.

"You know I stopped drinking since we had Sally..." I said.

"That's true... But your sex drive is better with alcohol in your system... Thank me later..." He said and went back inside and brought out his own wine glass.

We sat down on the couch in the balcony and when I went inside the charge my phone, I noticed Tzuyu's condom on his bed side table.

"Babe..." He said and I immediately went back to him.

"I know what you saw..." He said as he pulled me to sit on his lap.

"Tzu..." I said.

"Babe... I don't want to make decisions without yours... So... Even if I want to have a child... I still need to respect your decision if you still don't want one..." He said.

"Can we... Just do it after the wedding? I'm still on my pills..." I said.

"Sure... Anytime... Anywhere... And anyhow you want it..." He said and kissed me aggressively.

"No one is going to interrupt us now..." I jokingly said.

"Sally, we love you... But your parents have needs... Let me have my sweetest dessert." He said and carried me back inside and put me on the bed.

He was gentle and aggressive, but he made sure that I get the pleasure that I want.

He did became a real man now, and I'm happy to be with the person I am with right now.
