Papa Smurf POV

There's got to be a way to make Gargamel to stop taking us hostage. I am so sick of it, especially after what happened on the last time.

As i was throwing more ingredients into the pot, i heard the door to my lab open. I turned around to see Smurfette standing there.

"Hey, are you okay, Papa Smurf?" She asked. "You havent slept since our last encounter with Gargamel," Vanity Smurf, Clumsy Smurf and Brainy Smurf appear behind her.

"What?" I asked. "I'm fine. Just making a potion for a spell that will hopefully stop Gargamel from taking us hostage again,"

"Is it because of what happened last time?" Smurfette asked. "About us discovering a vllage full of real girl smurfs and then Gargamel captured us and put some of us into the Smurfilator?"

"I remembered that," Clumsy Smurf said. "It was horrible,"

"Perhaps you should take a break," Vanity Smurf offered. "You can resume on this tomorrow," 

"Fine," I said. "Just leave me alone for five more minutes and i'll smurf," Brainy Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Smurfette, and Vanity Smurf left.

I threw in a beaker with purple substance, then used a ladle to sir the mixture. I then looked at my spell book on a page.

"Leaves, wood, bread crumbs stir," I chanted. "Open a doorway to creatures of fur,"

After i read the spell, I waited. Nothing worked. I guess all this work must've rotten my head.

I'll try again. The others need me. I left my lab. But unknown to me, a portal had opened on the edge of Smurf Village....

Gargamel POV

It's so boring here. I don't even know what to do next. What I do know for sure that those smurfs need to be destroyed. Oh, I hate the Swamp Of No return. I need to find the Smurf Village.

"Hey, pull it together, will you?" Azreal asked. "If you want to get revenge on those smurfs and destroy them, we need to get out."

"Yeah," Monty said. "We need you,"

"But how?" I asked. "This swamp is Called the Swamp of No Return for a reason," 

"What's impossible is possible," Azreal said. "We just have to make it happen,"

"Where did you learn that from?" I asked.

"An old book in your library," Azreal said. "I was bored."

"When we get back, I'll suspend you from using my library unless i give you permission, okay?" I asked. "Right now, we need to get out of the swamp. Any Ideas? I'm open,"

"Boss, could you reach that vine over there?" Monty asked. "Azreal and I will hold on to you, so you could pull us out," I looked at the vine he was talking about. It seemed quite stable.

"I'll try," I said. "Grab on to my leg," They did so, and after that, I started trying to reach the vine. It took a little effort, but I managed to do so. 

Using all my strength, I pull all three of us out of the swamp.

Once we land safely on the bank, i said, "You know what? As soon as we get hme, I'm going to take a shower, then suspend you, okay? this swamp was dirty,"

"Agreed," Azreal said. "So which way was home?" 

"I think we should go to the direction where we entered from," Monty said. "If we came from South, then we need to go North,"

"You're pretty smart for a pet, Monty," I said. "Let's go. And also one other thing I have for you, Azreal?"

"Yeah?" Azreal asked.
