Brainy POV
We looked around the cave. There we were alone with the giant spider we just defeated. It was then I have a sudden thought.
"Look, I have no idea where all of them went, but if I'm correct, if the fungus and the gas are both gone as well, then there is a likely chance that the they stole it from Clumsy and then went back to Gargamel's lair to complete the spell," I said. "This should make an object that is a medium sized sphere that is red,"
"You're pretty smart," Viva said. "But how do you know that?" "Why would i do chemistry?" I asked. "I studied all kinds of spells in my fee time and found about the Instant Death spell. And If i remember correctly, if you throw the object at a target, whoever is in the mist that the spear releases will die, but only if the person who throws the object can say the spell correctly, otherwise the target will be unconscious,"
"What are you saying?" Branch asked.
"I'm saying that if Gargamel throws the object at our village after saying the spell, we will all die," I said. "If we leave to the lair now, we're too late as the object will already be created,"
"Does that mean that we will all be in danger?" Smurfette asked. "Not just us, but everyone in Smurf Village?"
"Unfortunately, yes," I said."It's my fault," Clumsy said, sighing. "I never should have dropped the ingredients,"
"Don't give up hope, Clumsy," I said. "I believe that there's another way to stop him,"
"How?" Spruce asked.
"If we create a fake object and swap it with the real one," I said. "That will lead us to gargamel throwing the fake object at us, which should have no effect on us, and us throwing the real one aat the villans, which will make them go unconscious long enough to kick them back to the Swamp of No Return or something,"
"Brainy, you're a genius!" Poppy exclaimed. "But how are we going to create it without them looking?"
"They'll most likely do it in the morning," I said. "So we'll make it and swap it at night, then return to Smurf Village with the real one as soon as we're done,"
"Let's do it," Hefty said. "To Gargamel's Lair!" We left the cave and headed out of the Forbidden Forest to Gargamel's Lair.
Gargamel POV
I can't believe I'm about to get my revenge on those pesky Smurfs! They deserved it for ruining my plan last time. As soon as we got back, I ran to the cauldron. "Boys, I need you to lend me a hand," I ordered. Monty and Azreal walked to me.
I reached out and plucked some of Azreal's fur and Monty's feathers. I dump them in the cauldron.
"That's a pinch of Azreal's hair and three of Monty's feathers," I said. I then reach into my bag and pulled out two containers.
One held the gas and the other held the fungus. I handed one of them to Velvet and the other to Veneer.
"Would you two do the honours of adding the last ingredients?" I asked. "Remember what you offered me. The location of Smurf Village,"
"Yeah, yeah, we know," Velvet said, dumping the fungus inside. "Just as long as I get my revenge too,"
"So what exactly did the Trolls do to you?" I asked as Veneer added the gas. "The Smurfs stopped me from becoming the greatest Wizard by using their essence,"
"You drained those smurfs?" Veneer asked, widening his eyes. "That's exactly what we did to those trolls! Well, similar, actually. We stole their talent to become famous,"
"It takes hard work to become famous," I said, stirring the mixture. "I used my hard work to become a good wizard, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get any more powerful. Until one day I discovered these small blue creatures. Each one of them had a special talent,"
