The dearest ones

Rohan went to Anu's room to check on her.

He entered the room and saw Anu doing her skincare.

"Anu, bacha, bag pack karlo aur soo jao jaldi" Rohan said.

"Bhaiya, thodi aur der" Anu whined.

"Anu I'll check on you after a while, by that time you should be in bed" Rohan said leaving.

Saying that Rohan left to his study which is his office. He was busy on his laptop doing office work.

It was past 11 and Rohan was still engaged in doing his work. Suddenly someone knocks on the door of the study. He looked at the clock and was confused because it was almost midnight and he had sent his siblings to sleep early. He gave permission to enter.

"Come in" Rohan said

Ania entered the study slowly and quietly.

"Anu?" Rohan asked confused.

"Tum abhi tak soye kyun nahi?" Rohan asked folding his arms.

"Bhaiya, mujhe neend nahi aa rahi thi. Maine sone ki koshish kiya tha par nahi soo paya" Ania said with a cuteness.

"Anu idhar aao" he said and she went near him.

"Bachaa, kya hogaya. Kuch pareshaan kar rahe hai mere bachii ko?" Rohan asked gently making her sit on his lap.

"Bhaiya, mujhe aapke saath sona hai" she said cutely, hugging him.

"Par Anu, bhaiya ko bohot kaam hai karne ko. Aap jaao aur soo jaao bacha" he said softly

"Nahi bhaiya, mujhe aapke saath sona hai" she pouted.

"Mujhe bohot kaam hai bacha" he said matching her tone.

"Bhaiya" Ania pouted

"Achaa thike, aajao" he said making her stand and he took his laptop, phone, airpod, book, and one of his file.

They went to Rohan's room and settled there in his bed

They both settled and Rohan was trying to put her to sleep.

"Anu, bohot late hogayi hai, kal school bhi tho jaana hai, jaldi soo jao" he said gently, caressing her hair.

"Bhaiya no school" she said pouting.

"Anuuu" he said firmly, looking at her.

"Bhaiyaa" she pouted

"Anu, jaldi soo jaao. Mujhe kaam bhi hai" Rohan said.

"Bhaiya mein aapko aadha ghanta se doond rahi thi. Pehle aapki room mein aayi aur aap nahi thi aur kuch der baad mein study aaya. Mein aapko itna doonda aur aap soo jane ko keh rahi ho" she said being upset.

"Anu, you're not missing your school tomorrow, so better sleep now" Rohan said firmly.

Ania huffed in response and cuddled with him. He was side hugging her and she was hugging him tightly. His heartbeat made her calm and she knew she was in his safest arms. She could sleep peacefully hearing his heartbeat. She fell asleep within seconds.

Meanwhile Rohan thought to resume his work but he didn't feel to do any further work because his little princess was in his arms. He slowly turned and switched off the lights and slept peacefully cuddling with his little baby.

The next morning, Rohan got up at 5 and changed to workout outfit. He did his workout session in the gym in his house.

At 7 he finished his workout session and went to the kitchen. He made his coffee and went back to his room. He saw his little princess sleeping peacefully and he went and sat near her, caressing her hair. He kissed her cheeks and went to take a shower.

Later he woke his siblings and went to the dining room. They all had breakfast and Rohan dropped Ania in school, Dhruv and Kiara in college.

He reached his office and all of them greeted him. He entered his cabin and sat on his chair, that's when someone knocked the door.

"Come in" said Rohan, opening his laptop.

"Good morning sir" said his manager ( Arjun )

"Good morning Arjun, have a seat" Rohan said politely.

"Thank you sir. Sir here's your schedule for today" Arjun said forwarding the iPad.

"I hope everyone is prepared with the presentation for Mr Shikawat's deal. I don't want any blunder" said Rohan, checking his schedule.

"Yes sir they're well prepared, I personally checked into it. Aur sir we have a meeting scheduled with Mr Gupta personally. They have some suggestions regarding the deal" Arjun said.

"Okay Arjun, jab free hai tab dekhlunga. Tell Arun and Isha to come to my office at 10" Rohan said giving back the iPad.

"Yes sir, I'll get going" Arjun said and left.

Meanwhile Ania didn't create any problems. On the other hand it was Dhruv's business lecture coming up for the 5th hour. He didn't know a test was coming up. He entered the class and found their teacher standing there. His friends had already entered long back. He came almost 15 minutes late.

He quickly sat on his seat, forgetting to ask permission.

"Excuse me! Dhruv stand up. There's a teacher standing here. You can't just barge into the classroom just like that" Ms Sneha said angrily.

"Sorry mam, i won't repeat it again" they apologised.

"You won't repeat it again? Last time bhi late aaya tha and what did you say last time? Same things happened again and again" she said angrily.

"And by the way, do you even know there is a test today" she asked and their eyes widened.

Meanwhile Dhruv asked loudly "test?" And looked at his friends.

"Haan test. Khabhi khabhi class bhi aaya karo yeh sab jaanne ke liye" she said.

"Ma'am mujhe nahi pata tha yeh test ke baare mein. I couldn't attend your last class aur koi mujhe bataya bhi nahi"

"Now take that as an excuse. You should have asked, it's your responsibility to ask if you were on a leave" she said angrily.

"Ma'am aap mujhe blame kyun kar rahe ho, I didn't know about this" he said raising his voice but it wasn't that loud.

"How dare you raise your voice. Galti tumhara thi aur mujpe awaaz utta rahi ho" she said loudly.

"Ma'am, Maine awaaz kab uttayi, I was just saying..." he said and was interrupted by her.

"In the principal's office right now Dhruv Mehra"

"Ma'am maine kia bhi kya hai" he asked.

"Yeh sirf aaj ki baat nahi hai. Come to principle's office after this class" she said.

Having no other option he sat there.

After the class he was called to the principle's office.
