Chapter 13: Anticipating the Meet

Nia: "So, Kiran, have you thought about what we're going to do when we finally meet?"

Kiran: "Of course! I've been thinking about it non-stop. I think we should meet at that mall in Dubai. It's got everything – shops, restaurants, even an indoor ski slope!"

Nia: "Sounds perfect! And what should we wear? I was thinking of wearing a pretty frock."

Kiran: "That sounds lovely! I'll keep it casual with a t-shirt and jeans. Can't go wrong with that, right?"

Nia: "Definitely not! Oh, and what should we eat? I'm craving pizza."

Kiran: "Pizza it is! It's our common interest, after all. Maybe we can grab a slice and sit by the fountain."

Nia: "That sounds like a dream come true. Oh, and speaking of dreams, have you thought about our future kids?"

Kiran: "You mean Ronaldo and Stella? I know you're not sold on the name Ronaldo, but I can't help it – I'm obsessed with Cristiano Ronaldo!"

Nia: "Haha, I know you are. But I'm not sure about naming our child after a football player. Stella, on the other hand, I love. It's so elegant."

Kiran: "Alright, Stella it is then. But just imagine our little Ronaldo kicking around a soccer ball!"

Nia: "I suppose it has a nice ring to it. Okay, Ronaldo it is. But only if we can agree on a middle name."

Their conversations flowed effortlessly, each one filled with excitement and anticipation for the day they would finally meet face to face. And when they found themselves with nothing to talk about, they would simply stay on call, watching a movie together or having fun with Google Jamboard.

As they counted down the days until their long-awaited meeting, Kiran and Nia found solace in the simple joy of being together, even if it was only through a screen. And though they couldn't predict what the future held, they knew that as long as they had each other, anything was possible.
