"Your first time with an Omega!" Hoseok squeals excitedly. Taehyung couldn't make it to the stairs without his dad accosting him. He wonders if he didn't shower properly. Isn't he supposed to be undetectable or is Hoseok a fortune teller!? "How did it go? Is he going to be your Omega? Was it just one time? Do you want anything to eat? I doubt you ate anything yesterday or even today." He adds mischievously.
Taehyung lets out a long breath. "Aren't you supposed to work until like eight today?""Tae, baby, it's nine at night."
Taehyung scrunches up his face and peeks at the clock on the wall. At the same time, he sees Yoongi asleep on the couch so yeah, it must be nine. He takes so many naps throughout the day that it sometimes seems like a miracle that he even works. Taehyung clears his throat and tries to argue in his favor, but Hoseok just pulls him by the arm to take him to the kitchen.
"I'm very serious: I want to know all the details. Who, where, how, how it was" he exclaims animatedly. Taehyung sits at the table inside the kitchen. He knows that if he gets up and tries to go to his room, he'll be scolded. The best he can do is allow his father to serve him food and maybe run away from his questions. Just maybe. He doubts he can do it. "Was it Omega? Or an Alpha. A beta- TELL ME!" he screams about to throw the whole plate of kimchi.
"Dad, please..."
"What!? I've been waiting all these years for it to happen" he claims leaving plates on the table, "after all, you were so stubborn since high school... You didn't see anyone! And because you were stubborn you were having those problems-"
"Let's not talk about the gland problems." He claims, taking the plate from his hand. Hoseok laughs and sits in front of Taehyung. The man starts eating, speeding up every second. He hadn't realized how hungry he was.
He feels Hoseok's intense gaze forcing him to speak. He swallows a mouthful of pork and slumps a little in the chair. "Jimin offered to go with-"
"AH! YES! YESYESYES!" he exclaims, suddenly standing up. "YOONGIII! HE WENT WITH THE ONE HE LIKES!" He goes to the kitchen entrance, shouting at the top of his lungs. Taehyung manages to hear a grunt from his dad. "Okay, continue," he asks, sitting back down. "Did you ask him? Did he go with you the whole time? How...?"
"What's got you so nervous?" Yoongi asks in the middle of a yawn. Noticing what Hoseok doesn't: Taehyung looks close to throwing up. Not because the food is bad. He arrived worried. His stench is one of anguish as if his dog had just been killed.
Taehyung remains with the food in his mouth for a few minutes.
"I really wanted to wait for him to be my Omega... so I wouldn't be with anyone else" he comments in a low, shy, scared voice. Yoongi sits in the third chair, listening to him attentively, "and I know he didn't do anything bad to me. He didn't feel bad either, but now I feel like... I don't... I don't know." Taehyung moans, annoyed.
"Did it feel good?" Taehyung nods, "Did you feel forced in any way?" He shakes his head. "Did you talk about anything before it started?"
"He asked you if I you wanted to, he gave you options..." Hoseok explains a little calmer. Taehyung nods.
"He offered me to sleep over just like that. He wanted to keep me company because I told him my heat hurt a lot." Yoongi nods softly. "And I wanted to continue, but it wasn't... Me. It wasn't-"
Yoongi just spots the problem that the therapist brought up a thousand times before: Taehyung and his desire to be the victim at every turn. He may be totally okay with everything from start to finish, but somehow he's sad! Everyone hurt him! Poor him!
"It's you," Yoongi informs and Taehyung looks away. "The problem with caste is that we often associate it as a separate being from us. Before it was called "inner wolf," right now, we know that it is only our most honest conscience. Our desires making their way" he explains slowly and patiently so that Taehyung does not get too overwhelmed. Rubbing in the victimhood does not help, it could make the situation worse. "The problem you have now is that your reasoning fights with your emotional conscience. What you want on a regular basis, that is: to get married and mark an Omega to be with for life; versus the need you have to feel pleased and loved like an Alpha."
"We understand that you want this for yourself and it is very good that you want it" Hoseok assures with a sad gesture, "but life is not planned that way. It is not about you waiting until you have a one hundred percent stable contract because... in reality that does not happen until you are thirty."
"It is likely that you will age quickly due to stress and sadness, feeling of abandonment." Yoongi adds.
"S-so I'm supposed to do it with the first person I find?"
"Woooow, who said that?"
"What a melodramatic kid!" Yoongi complains, bringing his hands to his face. "It's about you seeing people now and not leaving it for the last minute! Not about you becoming the Alpha of the town!"
Taehyung blushes, embarrassed. Yoongi is sometimes unable to understand how tragic and Romantic his son turned out to be. He takes everything to extremes and believes that by accepting something that crosses his path now, he's going to be letting go of the love of his life, the true love of his life and things like that.
It wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that they have him whining that nobody loves him, that his heat hurts, that he feels alone, that no Omega sees him as anything other than a sex toy...
At the same time he doesn't allow anyone to talk to him anymore. Trying to establish terms to get to know each other and make it a real relationship. Taehyung is the cause of his own problems usually. It's funny when he doesn't blame it on "life not working out the way he wants it to."
"I made him cry when I woke up because I felt a little betrayed so I called him out on it, he didn't want to talk and I told him not to talk to me."
"NO! NOOOO! WHY!?" Hoseok shrieks, putting his hands on his head. Taehyung shrugs, is it that critical?

"Calm down Jimin-ssi, he's dumb, don't pay so much attention to him- Okay." Jungkook keeps patting him on the back, as Jimin seems to want to flood his room with so much crying. He called him in that state, babbling things.
The only thing he got out of it is that Taehyung made him feel bad, probably by accident, after his heat. He'll talk to him about it later, for now, to keep Jimin from getting dehydrated from crying so much.
"I did it well and everything was good. Why does he hate me!? I was a good Omega."
"You're the best Omega. Don't cry." Jungkook asks, rubbing his cheek against Jimin's, who continues to sob.
