The screen flicks back on to the Selection Screen, Knuckles is now unlocked but Eggman is still locked, Tails is gone but his face can be seen in the selection box up above, dead.
Tails' face is a gruesome and haunting sight. His once-bright, curious eyes are now empty, their sockets gouged out and raw. His fur is matted and caked with blood, with several tufts torn out, leaving bald patches on his face. One of his ears is missing, ripped off at the base, leaving a jagged stump behind.
His face is contorted in a twisted expression of horror and pain, as if he's screaming silently. The skin is stretched taut, revealing a prominent bone structure beneath. The bloody mess is evident, with crimson streaks and splatters covering his face. The throat bone is visible, prominent and jagged, as if it's been ripped open.

Scrap Brain Zone...
Scrap Brain Zone is set in an industrial area, with a sprawling cityscape filled with twisted metal pipes, rusted machinery, and decaying buildings. The zone is a maze of narrow corridors, catwalks, and platforms, with treacherous obstacles like crushing rollers, spinning blades, and pitfalls to avoid.
. The zone also features various traps, including spinning turbines, falling rocks, and electrical shocks.
Knuckles is seen gliding through Scrap Brain Zone but something was off, there were no enemies, the sky was blood red and it was extremely dark. "I wonder if Tails is ok? His last message was awhile ago." Knuckles says as he lands on the metal floor but then a familiar blur runs past him. "Sonic..." He says before rushing in Sonic's direction.
Knuckles' red eyes scanned the dimly lit industrial landscape of Scrap Brain Zone, his sharp senses on high alert as he navigated the treacherous terrain. He was a blur of red, his dreadlocks ruffled by the wind as he glided effortlessly through the zone. His powerful legs pumped in a rhythmic motion, propelling him forward with incredible speed and agility.
As he ran, the sounds of the zone echoed around him - the creaking of twisted metal, the rumbling of machinery, and the distant hum of electricity. Knuckles' ears perked up, his instincts telling him that something was off. The usual chaos of Scrap Brain Zone was replaced by an unsettling silence, punctuated only by the sound of his own footsteps.
His eyes scanned the shadows, searching for any sign of his friend.
As he turned a corner, he spotted a flash of blue in the distance. "Sonic!" he called out, his voice carrying across the zone. His pace quickened, his muscles coiled with anticipation.
Finally, Knuckles caught up to Sonic, who was standing completely still, his back to Knuckles. The blue blur's eyes were fixed on something in front of him, his expression unreadable. Knuckles skidded to a stop beside him, his chest heaving with exertion.
"Sonic?" Knuckles asked cautiously, his voice low and even. "What's going on?"
Sonic didn't respond, didn't even flinch. He just kept staring straight ahead, his eyes fixed on some point in the distance.
Knuckles' gaze lingered on Sonic's unresponsive form for a moment, his brow furrowed in concern. He was about to ask again, "Sonic, what's wrong?" when his eyes flickered away, scanning the surrounding area for any sign of danger. The dimly lit zone seemed to stretch on forever, the only sound being the creaking of metal and the distant hum of electricity.
