As I looked at the guy, trying to pass the slightest of smile through his smile at Virika.
My heart skips a beat.

The beer bottle in my hand felt heavier. As if Virika was drifting away from me slowly.

All I could do for now just stare at that man, until he loses his shit.

But his eyes fixed at Virika, stabbed me in my chest like a sharp needle.

My reflexes were fast to come up, as I slided the gun up my pocket, to point at him, over Virika's shoulder, to not let her know about it.

As I actioned the gun towards the right, to get his mind in the right place.

He dared to twitch his lips at my girl.
I was sure that I wasn't letting him go off like that.

His eyes started watering, I just wondered what did I even do till now.

My eyes just bored at him. The stare wasn't enough to get some brain inside his body.

I could already feel heat in my eyes. The effect My Virika has on me. Ugh.

He was such a feminine guy, he started crying.

I decided not to make it sure for Virika so I touched my chest against her small back.

I totally knew she would turn around to ask why the guy is tearing up.

I hid the pistol back into my pocket.

As she pulled my collar with the help of her tiny hands, I was too stunned to speak at first, but to not make it too obvious, I had to answer her silly question.

As I responded and her back turned again.

My eyes narrowed as I focused on a moment that seemed to last forever.

Virika.

But all I saw was  her reaching out and patting the man on the shoulder, her smile filled with sympathy and genuineness.

My chest tightened, and my grip on the beer bottle became vice-like.

My mind rushed, drowning out the noise of the horns around me.

I only and only saw Virika and the man, and a torrent of irrational thoughts flood through my brain.

Each second stabbed me at my heart, feeding the gnawing beast of jealousy within me.

I felt a knot forming in my stomach, my breath coming in shallow, erratic bursts.

The logical part of my brain tried to remind me that it's just a friendly gesture, but the jealously, argh.

My jaw clenched, and I could feel the tension spreading to my neck and shoulders. The world around me started to blur, and all I could focus on is the view infront of me.
