As time passed, Taehyung found it increasingly difficult to suppress his feelings for Jimin. He cherished their moments together, but he also felt a growing sense of frustration. He still couldn’t figure out why he was so drawn to the omega, and it left him restless.
One evening, after a particularly challenging day, Taehyung sought out Jimin in the gardens. He found him sitting by a fountain, lost in thought.
"Jimin," Taehyung called softly.
Jimin looked up, smiling when he saw Taehyung. "Hello, Taehyung. Rough day?"
Taehyung sighed, sitting down next to him. "You could say that. Being the Alpha has its challenges."
Jimin nodded sympathetically. "I can imagine. Sometimes, it must feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders."
"It does," Taehyung admitted. "But being here with you... it helps."
Jimin’s heart skipped a beat at Taehyung's words. He looked into the Alpha’s eyes, feeling a connection that went beyond words. "I’m glad I can help, even if just a little."
They sat in comfortable silence, the sound of the fountain providing a soothing backdrop. Taehyung felt a warmth spread through him, a sense of peace he only found with Jimin. He wanted to say more, to tell Jimin how he felt, but he didn’t want to scare him away.
Instead, he reached out and gently took Jimin's hand. Jimin looked at him, surprised but not pulling away.
"Thank you, Jimin," Taehyung said softly. "For being here."
Jimin smiled, his heart full. "Always, Taehyung. I’ll always be here."
