SHIFA SALEEM
The front door opens showing two figures, Aunty and Nahima."Welcome backkk!" After greeting Aunty-I mean, Ammi-I exclaim. Ammi went back to her room to rest, and Nahima ran to me in the kitchen.
"He was jealous, wasn't he? When he spoke with Iqbal brother, I could feel fire shooting through his eyes." She says laughing as I end up admitting it.
"So, Ahem did you guys have fun while we weren't here?" Nahima questions inquiringly, her voice curious to know and I attempt to divert the topic "You haven't eaten right, have it. I will provide Ammi when she wakes up." I say.
"Sweetheart, don't change the subject. You and I have been friends for a very long time. Don't try to make me seem foolish in the hopes that I'll ignore it. Spill it out." She says, and I can't help but smile.
"Yeah...well thanks." I respond as she creeps me out with her laughter. "THEN I DID A GOOD JOB CONVINCING AMMI TO STAY AT COUSINS FOR 2 DAYS!!" She exclaims.
I open the lower drawer taking one of the pot bending down a bit, "Oh what's that? Ohh~~~" She says her eyes narrowing as she laughs once more. Oh shit, I forgot. This is Nahima INFRONT OF ME!!
I cover my entire neck with the hijab when I see her staring at my neck.
"Mosquito bite." I reply to her cooing. "Mosquito bites doesn't entirely turn out to be purple you know." She says leaning on the kitchen counter.
"Didn't know he had that side of him." She chuckles, teasing me up to the core. I shy away avoiding her gaze towards me and my covered neck. "I will be back." She says, rushing up to the stairs.
Fuck, that embarrassed the shit out of me.
SHAHID SAIF
After the shower i was drying my my hair with the towel. The door flings open as my eyes ready to greet my princess after yesterday's splendid night.
I was only wearing my sweat-pants, without any shirt since no one's home.
But my eyes meet the person I didn't expect, especially in this state of mine. "Oh god!! My eyes!! At least put on some clothes bro." Nahima says closing her eyes with both of her two hands.
She immediately removes her hand staring at my naked body. "Is that mosquito bites too? Cuz Shifa had purple one and to be honest you have a lot...." She says staring onto my bared skin stunned. I quickly grab my shirt and pull it on.
"You guys are back. Where's Ammi?" I inquire. "She is taking rest since she's quite tired. So tell me, is that Mosquito named Shifa?" She states folding both of her arms still cooing like a child.
I clear my throat, "Ahem Ahem, why didn't you inform me you were coming back today. I told you to text me." I question approaching her.
"I did, but you didn't read the text since you and Shifa were busy doing something else in which you guys got a lot of mosquito bites." She burst into laughing after saying this. I try to act cold but I couldn't.
"Can you drop the mosquito bites Nahima." I say my voice stern and shy at the same time. "Oh my oh my, is my grumpy brother becoming all too shy. So how was it?" She asks.
A smirk forming on my lips by the mention of it but I try to act cool Infront of this woman, Its NAHIMA we are TALKING ABOUT!! Just a little bit of spill and she will roast the hell out of us Infront of everyone!.
"Well, I guess I gotta really gift you something then." I say as her eyes sparkle. I know very well how to divert the topic unlike others.
"Pinky?" She questions tilting her head. "Yes Pinky." I reply as our childhood memories flashing, That one day when were kidnapped, I pinky promised that I will get her out of the dark room. I did, but I couldn't save her.
But here she is, still pinky promising me telling she believes me even after all the things she went through. I SWEAR, I WON'T DISAPPOINT HER AGAIN.

"So how's it going on?" I ask. Aarif sitting on the sofa in my office. "Well the higher up doctors tried to blame me for breaking the document and leaking it to you guys." He says.
"Is it serious?" Ishan inquires as Aarif responds with a smile "Well nope, I disqualified them and gave them few lessons. They have no right to question their CEO."
"Great job mahnn!!" Ishan exclaims and Aarif takes a glance at me wanting to hear my compliment. "I'm proud of you." I say smiling as he smiles back.
"FINALLY SHAHID COMPLIMENTED MEE!!!" Aarif says as Ishan exclaims and the days went by.
N E X T D A Y
"I'm soo sorry Shifa. It's all my fault I'm sorry." Mansoor says. We are in a cafe which he begged us inviting over.
"That's alright at least you came to your senses." She replies, her voice kind and annoyed at the same time.
"I'm glad you are happy now. I admit it was my fault." He says looking over at me. I respond "Good".
I don't know why I said that but well yeah.
"Is there any particular reason you fell for her?" Mansoor questions who is sitting Infront of us glancing at me. Putting my hand on her shoulder who is sitting beside me I state.
"Her Beauty Wasn't Something I Just Saw, But Something I Discovered In Her Haya, Her Akhlaq, Her Adab, Her imaan & Her Sabar!!."
She smiles hearing my response. Mansoor smiles hearing my response as well. My phone vibrates. "You guys continue your talks." I say leaving her to talk it out for the last time with Mansoor. I trust my girl no matter what.
SHIFA SALEEM
Shahid leaving just me and Mansoor while he talks to someone on the call. A voice snaps me out "Was his beauty that caught you?" Mansoor questions.
"Beauty? Nah Man. His Ikhlaq is enough to make me Fall In Love With Him." I reply looking over at a faraway Shahid who is on a call with someone else.
"You guys are just perfect, Masha Allah. I'm late." He replies. "It wasn't you are late but rather you were in a wrong path that I cut ties with you." I reply and he nods.
"Happy life ahead. Goodbye Assalamualaikum." I wish him as he wishes me back with "Good life ahead, Walaikumussalam." I make my way to Shahid who end up his phone call.
"Done Amira?" He inquires with a smile on his face which I was glad to see. "Yes Amir." I reply and he waves at Mansoor who waves back at him in response.
We walk out of the cafe leaving Mansoor alone.
