Love Beyond Time

CHAPTER 1

In year 2024, A girl named Veronica Santos, visited her grandparents hometown at San Fernandez, Laguna. She arrived at noon in the quiet village of San Fernandez. Suddenly an adult woman waving at her while calling her name. "Veronica ²!!", excitedly shouted of the adult woman. It's her auntie Marie, she smiled and waved back."Aunt, how have you been?", she asked. "Oh, Iha, we're doing fine here",she replied while taking the bag at Veronica's hand." Let's go for now, alright, you have so much story to tell!", she added. Veronica smiled at her and follow.

"Here we are, ugh, I'm sorry for the dust it's been years since it open so it's little  bit dusty", she said. Veronica looked around the house." It's bring back a lots of memories". Veronica said while looking at the old pictures at the wall. "It is", her auntie respond." Well, you can look around the house while I'm cleaning", she added." Alright, auntie." She answered.

Veronica walked around the house until she reach the attic. She looked around and saw a rusty box above the piles of books. She grabbed it and open then saw an old pocket watch beside it are some old pictures of the past city-- Veronica use to study history--, she called her auntie." Auntie!!", she called. "Yes,what is it,Ve?"-the name that her family used to call her when she was younger- her auntie respond. Her auntie hurriedly went to the attic. "Veronica, what's the matter?", her aunt asked. "Well, I  saw these picture of  great grandma lying here beside the pocket watch, I've never seen it before. I do look like her, isn't it?" She asked.
"Right,ouh, these pictures was taken back at her teenage time,she used to tell us a story about her first love,but she was forced to marry another man.", Her auntie respond while seeing the pictures. "I see." Veronica replied." When you're done looking here come downstairs to eat, okay?", oh you know there is a story about that watch, it's says that it could make you're dream came true that what your great grandma said.,"she added.Her auntie said while leaving the attic. "Okay, auntie.", she replied hurriedly.Ve didn't think about the last sentence her auntie said.

When they done eating, she walked in her room to rest but she was shock when she saw the box in the attic at her bed." Did auntie put it here?", she asked herself. She once thought to see the pictures. 5 minutes later, and she notice the notes at the back of the oldest picture at the box, it says;
"Meeting you was a nice incidence, I've never thought, I will love someone like you. You may marry another man but I'll always be here waiting for you."It's a poem of love but who wrote this?!", she asked then saw a named Marcos at the last part of the poem, says;
If I could turn back the time, maybe I could still stop you from marrying another man.

Curious, Ve read the poem of love. It's says all of the love story of the young couple and their different world, how they meet , fall in loved and how their different world break them apart. Her thought stop when the clock rang, it was 12 midnight,she remembered  about her auntie told her and open the pocket watch to know if the story about it was true but nothing happened, then to her surprised there was a glimpse of light at the back of the door. She curiously open then at the blink of her eyes, she was standing at the front door of a familiar house, she looked around her and saw an unfamiliar place, then she realizes that the place she in was similar to the place of the picture of her grandma.
