In a flash
Nathalie fell of the building they were standing on.
Because of the thought-
That she wasn't usefull enough
That she couldn't do anything to help Gabriel
That he found her inresponsible
Worthless.
Gabriel may have not said that to her-
But it felt like he did.

Gabriels pov
It took me 2 seconds to realise that Nathalie leaned back
automatically falling of the building we were standing on
'NATHALIE'
I screamed as i ran up to her also falling of the building
But i have my miraculous with me.
I looked at her
but she was closing her eyes
as if-
it didn't matter to her.
as if-
she wasn't alive anymore.
i launched myself at her
took her in my arms and landed in an alley
i gently placed her on the ground
stroking her cheeck, gently whispering
'Nathalie-'
'My love.'
'Please answer me.'
'I lov-'
at that moment she opened her eyes
as i didn't dare to end that sentence
That one sentence
That could change evrything.
''G-Gabriel-''
'Omg'
'Please never scare me like that ever again!'
She looked away a bit as i felt regret
'Im sorry'
'I shouldn't have screamed at you.'
'I am just so worried about you'
''It's okay-''
She started coughing as i gently rubbed her back
When she stopped i placed a soft kiss on her forehead as i spoke
'Should we go home?'
Nathalie gently nodded as i took her in my arms
But instead of going back to her appartment
We went to my house.
I didin't even realise i brought her here as i placed her in my bed.
I transformed back
'Dark wings fall.'
Then i tucked her in and whispered-
'Goodnight my dear'
But she whispered something back.
"S-stay with me."
I gently smiled, as without thinking-
i joined her in bed as she coudled next to me
her head on my chest.
hearing her softly breathing made my heart flutter
and made my soul feel at peace
I gently stroked her hair as i whispered in her ear
'I love you my dear Nathalie'
The first time i ever felt love after
Emilies death.
