Hawk moth ran over the rooftops to the laire with Nathalie in his arms
She was violently coughing as a worried expression crossed his face
'I hope that she is okay'
'This is all my fault'
'I should have never let her use the miraculous again'
'Let alone ask her to help me'
'What a stupid man i am-'
He thougt as they landed in his laire-
He looked at Nathalie as her eyes were closed
'Nathalie?'
'Nathalie!!'
'NATHALIE'
He yelled at her, as he relaised that she had passed out
He put his ear at her mouth to hear if she was breathing
She wasn't.

A few moments later Gabriel had ran up to the hospital, transformed back and ran inside
'HELP!!'
'HELP DOCTOR'
'SHE ISN'T BREATHING'
'PLEASE'
Gabriel yelled as a few nurses brought her to an emergency room
Gabriel tried to get to Nathalie-
but wasn't allowed inside.
The only thing he could do was wait.
Wait.
Just hoping that Nathalie-
Was fine.

It felt like an enternity when a doctor came up to him
A worried and sad expression on his face
'What is it?'
'Is she okay!?'
There fell a silence as the doctor spoke
'I am so sorry to informe you mr. Agreste-'
Gabriel looked at the doctor tears filling up his eyes
'Your assistant.'
'Didn't survive'
'We did evrything we could'
Gabriel felt like his ears were ringing
As if his whole world came crashing down
Nathalie
Had-
Died
He had lost the love of his life.
No Nathalie to support him anymore
No hugs from behind when he lost another battle
No sweet words in his ear
No soft touch
No-
Nathalie.

Gabriel woke up as a doctor stood before him
But there was no worried or sad expression on his face
'Mr. Agreste, your assistant is alright.'
'You can come in now.'
Gabriel sight in relief as he followed the doctor into the room
Then..
He saw a weak looking Nathalie sitting in the hospital bed with all kinds of machines attached to her.
A smile full of hope and hapiness crossed Gabriel's face
Knowing that 'his' Nathalie was okay.
He slowly walked up to her sitting on a chair besides her
'Hey'
''Hi''
'Are you feeling okay?'
He asked gently holding her hand.
Nathalie felt the warmth of her hand in his as her heart filled with love
''Im feeling better''
She said, but Gabriel wasn't convinced
He looked in Nathalie's eyes-
And knew that she wasn't okay.
'Nath please, tell me the truth.'
He said in a serious and uncovinced tone.
Suddenly-
Nathalie bursted into tears
''NO''
''IM NOT OKAY''
''I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM DOING TO MYSELF''
''I ALMOST DIED''
She screamed as tears fell from her
beautiful eyes
Gabriel looked at her in concern as he moved his hand up to her face
cupping it and gently wipping her tears away with his thumb
Natalie imideatly stopped crying as she closed her eyes, feeling her loved ones-
warm
soft
touch
'I know my dear, i know-'
He gently whispered still cereasing her face with his thumb
'We will get thru this together-'
'I promise.'
