You are a bright star-
I say that with banality
with also grieving the fact
I am a mere stargazer-
on the grasses of commonplace
You are a bright star-
on the lands of the sky,
people of significance shine
and that makes you and I,
You are a bright star-
I am a mere stargazer
still in the delusion that
someday we'll make a constellation
