Unknowing, you slipped into my heart,
Escape seemed far until my departure,
I couldn't speak my feelings into words,
but you found, things inside were harder.
I whispered your name in every sigh,
A heavenly walk, it seemed like
on empty streets you crossed by
my lorn cries remained unheard each night
but affection for you reached every height.
Your eyes hold a captivating depth, so vast and grand
As our gaze met, a spark we couldn't withstand
Unknowingly, you became part of my life
but, I was nothing to you
you became the mellifluous music of my fife
my heart still running to you
