Game Night

We were all sitting in the living room. Primo had called for a 'family game night' and threw a fit when he found out that we wouldn't be attending, hence why we are here now.

He pranced around the front of the living room with batman pajamas on, to which he had to verify with me that he was not in fact the real batman so I couldn't fight him.

Cute kid.

"Let's play...hide and go seek!" he said, jumping around.

"I don't think that's a great idea, bud." Amara spoke to her son, glancing at us worriedly. No doubt she was hesitant about letting us sneak around in her house.

"I think it's an amazing idea," he muttered, pouting. Nonetheless, he sighed and put his hand on his chin, thinking hard. "Let's play never have I ever!"

Oh god, not this again.

"Okay, I'll go first," Emilio said and scooped Primo up into his lap. "Never have I ever...peed in a pool."

Almost all of the boys, except for Enzo, Valentino, and Blake raised their hands. None of the girls except for Maya raised their hand.

"Oh c'mon, not even as a kid?" Derek teased, nudging me.

"No, Derek, shut up." I said, flicking him on the head. He winced and kicked my foot, to which I rolled my eyes at.

"Alright, I'll go next," said Leonardo, "Never have I ever...ran away from the cops."

Everybody in the room except my mother raised their hands -- even Primo. His mother gave him a questionable look.

"As batman, it is my duty to not get caught with the cops when they get mad." He said confidently, pointing to the symbol on his chest.

"Oh, so you're batman now?" I teased him lightly, reminding him of our conversation a few nights ago.

"What? NO! I-" he was cut off by the sound of the doorbell ringing. He got up and decided to go to the bathroom real quick.

Matteo got up and smiled sheepishly. "Oh...I forgot to tell, we have guests. I hope you lot are familiar with the Russians."

My mouth dropped as he answered the door and pranced back into the room with Alexei and Andrei. My mouth went dry as I looked over my former 'brothers' who had practically raised me.

Alexei's black hair was combed to the side, his brown eyes dark and cold as he looked us over. Andrei's black hair was, unlike Alexei's, messy and wet, as if he just got out of the shower. His brown eyes were also dark and calculating. They both wore sweatpants and a tight t-shirt.

"I need to go to the bathroom," I muttered under my breath as I hastily got up.

"What was that?" Enzo asked.

"I need to go to the bathroom." I repeated louder, speeding up my steps.

I closed the bathroom door behind me and leaned over the counter, taking my mask off. I splashed my face with cold water and evened out my breathing.

"Uhm...Batwoman's enemy?" I heard a small voice ask. I jumped and looked down, to where Primo was, seemingly in the middle of washing his hands before I barged in.

"Fuck, fuck fuck," I groaned, looking around for my mask and not seeing it.

"You look like my auntie." He observed.

I froze. "What?"

"You look like my Auntie Verity. Papa has shown me photos of her, said that she's in the clouds."

"I'm not your Auntie Verity."

"You look exactly like her though! And you have her eyes, like Papa showed me!"
