It was a simple hit. A high ranking talon member. Not an operative, just a simple paper pusher with a perfectly consistent routine. A routine that would send them through a street vulnerable to multiple vantage points; and a routine that would send the deadlock gang into a butt-ton of cash.

Climbing up into her position atop an overlooking skyscraper  as discreetly as possible, the leader unslung her custom-built lever action rifle and loaded a solitary hollow point round. A single chance was all she needed. The client wanted this as clean as possible; no extra attention, no extra backup, no extra casualties. She couldn't even bring B.O.B, her trusted omnic butler and closest friend.

No matter. Eight figures in clean, crisp dollar bills is worth a few hours of isolation. Anyway, it means she gets to listen to some music in peace, without being pestered by one of the numbskulls she employs for this or for that. Just some quiet time, waiting for her target.
