I groan as my older brother rips the covers off me, letting the cold swallow me whole.
"Rise and shine." Derek says "Come on, get up you have to get ready for your first day of school."
"But I don't want to." I complain pulling my pillow over my head
"I'm not going to ask again y/n." Derek demands
"Okay, I'm getting up." I sigh "Derek"
"Yes?" He questions
"What happened last night?" I ask sitting up on my bed "I mean I heard police say they found a half a body. "
"Yeah..." he whispers trying to what to say, he sighs "It was Laura, they found Laura and hunters cut her in two so she wouldn't heal that's why they only found half"
"What?" Tears filling my eyes "Laura's dead, where's the other half of her?"
"I buried her, under a wolfsbane spiral and when I find out who did this to her I'm going to get revenge" he states angrily "Now come on get ready for school" he says trying to calm down
"Okay" I whisper wiping the tears from my eyes
I pull on my black top and Jean shorts with fishnet tights on underneath, I pull my hair into a messy bun and put on my converse

I finish getting ready, running down the stairs of my burnt house, slinging my bag over my shoulder
"I'm going now Derek I'll see you later" I don't even bother to raise my voice knowing he can hear me
"Okay come straight home, it's a full moon tomorrow remember I don't want another incident like last time" he states
"Yeah I know, it's was one time" I whisper heading out the door annoyed, he always does this he thinks I can't take care of myself, I might struggle every couple full moons but I am more then capable of taking care of myself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
