As I walk through the halls of the school I can hear whispers around me, glaring at the one's talking shit it's mainly just insecure girls.
Two voices stick out to me one belonging to a boy with a buzzed hair cut and a boy with an unusual jaw. I get a weird feeling about that boy I don't think he's human but I also get the feeling he doesn't know it yet
"Who is that?" The boy with a buzzed head questions
"I don't know but she's gorgeous" The other says
"I'm not sure I think Lydia is better looking, oh hi Lydia didn't see you there" He says nervously as a strawberry blonde walks pass him rolling her eyes
The girl walks up to me not acknowledging the boy "I'm Lydia Martin, are you new I haven't seen you around here?"
"Yeah I'm new. New to the school anyway" I state "My names y/n hale"
Her eyes widened as I say my name, she must of heard about my family
"Your a Hale, your brother is Derek hale" she says almost hoping it was just a coincidence I had the same name as him
"Yeah" I sigh "he's my older brother, everyone is terrified of him I don't get why though he's fine when you get to know him"
"Well I'm sure we can move pass that, I mean no family's perfect" she says
Maybe I'll have an actual friend not someone trying to get close to me just so they can gain popularity from knowing me and my family, I mean I think she quite popular anyway seeing as everyone turns as she walks by
"What's your first lesson?" Lydia asks
"Sadly maths" I pretend to cry
She lets out a giggle
" I have it to let's walk together when the bells goes, I think your going to be my new best friend"
A boy walks up to us kissing Lydia on the cheek
"Hi Jackson" she laughs "This is y/n she's new, y/n this is Jackson my boyfriend"
"Nice to meet you" he says checking you out holding his hand out waiting for you to take it
What a dick you thought to yourself, checking me out right in front of his girlfriend and Lydia pretends not to notice poor girl if that was me I would of punched him by now
"You to" I rudely say refusing to shake his hand. I see Lydia smile in the corner of my eye, glad I didn't take his hand
