Nyx: "So what are you saying is that... I'm the daughter of two powerful witches?"

Nyx questioned Rodin as he gave her another cup of soda.

Enzo: "That's right! And they're a pain the ass too, especially her! She keeps ruinin' my car!"

Nyx ignores him and looks back at Rodin

Nyx: "So, what if they're powerful witches? What's that gotta do with me?"

Rodin: "It has everything to do with you. A war is going to start soon, and you're smacked right in the middle of it."

Rodin mixes a few more drinks and looks at Enzo.

Rodin: "You going to pay your tab this time or what?"

Enzo stops drinking and looks at Rodin nervously.

Enzo: "U-uh you'll get your money after this job Nyx and I will take!"

Nyx: "Excuse me? What job?" Nyx raised a brow.

Rodin: "She's not going anywhere until she learns about her powers. So you're just going to have to wait a while... Little man."

Rodin: "Nyx, have you ever heard of Umbran Witches and Lumen Sages?"

Exhausted, Nyx walks home later during the afternoon. She had spent the majority of the afternoon training with Rodin building up her physical strength along with helping with some of her magic, Shadow Manipulation and Ten Shadows Technique.

On the way home she meets up with her brother Issei who's been looking for her.

Issei: "Nyx! There you are, we have to meet with Rias remember?"

Nyx: "Yeah, I remember."

Nyx walks past him as they both walk back to the school, at the entrance of the gate waiting for them is a blonde haired boy named Kiba Yuto.

Kiba: "Hyoudou Issei and Nyx Fushiguro correct?"

Issei (mind): 'Oh great... It's him.'

Issei made an annoyed facial expression seeing Kiba. Nyx sighed and answered.

Nyx: "That's us. Did Gremory send you?"

Kiba: "Yes, now would you please follow me."

Kiba motioned for the siblings to follow him. Kiba leads the two to the old school house that the Occult club uses.

Nyx: "A bit dusty here..." She mumbles holding back a sneeze.

The second they entered the sound of a shower running can be heard.

Kiba: "Please have a seat, Rias will be out shortly."

Nyx: 'Shes seriously taking a shower now of all times?'

Nyx sat on the couch with her hands stuffed in her pockets and her legs crossed, she had her usual annoyed expression on her face. Issei sat down next to her his eyes glancing around the room.

The sound of the shower stops, after a minute or so Rias and Akeno walk into the main room.

Rias: "Sorry for the wait, I haven't been able to shower this morning due to being in Nyx's care~"

Nyx: "Don't say it like that. It's weird."

Akeno: "Fu~fu~ Is someone a little flustered?"

Nyx looked away as Akeno teased her.

Issei: 'Aw! No fair! I want Akeno-senpai's attention too!'

Issei crossed his arms and pouts.

Rias: "Anyways, time to get straight to business."

Black wings sprouted from everyone's back besides Issei and Nyx. "We are devils!"

Issei: "You all are devils?"

Rias: "Yes, including you Issei. Everyone here except Nyx is."

Rias: "The reason why you're here Nyx is that I believe you may possess a sacred gear or you might have magic."

Issei: "This is all too confusing!" He says confused.

Nyx: "I've already been partially filled in on the basics." She crossed her arms and leaned back on the sofa. "The only reason I'm here is because I have something to ask you."

Issei: "Holy shit! You have magic!?"

Issei looks at Nyx surprised.

Nyx: "I just found out about it earlier from... My mentor of sorts.."

Rias: "If you don't mind me asking, who is this mentor of yours? From what you've told me, he seems to know a lot about the supernatural world." She questioned the younger girl.

Nyx: "He prefers to stay anonymous. I was wondering if one of you could possibly explain the basics of mana to me."

Akeno immediately clung to Nyx's arm. "Well you've come to the right place~! I'll be happy to assist you~" one of her hands trailed down from Nyx's arm to her thigh. "It'll give us enough time to get to know each other...~"

Nyx: "I-i"

Rias: "Akeno, down girl! Give her some space." She shooed Akeno away as the latter winked at Nyx.

Nyx: "I appreciate it then. If that's all, I'll be going home now." She looks at Issei. "Let me know what happens later when you come home."

Rias: "Wait! We're going to go catch a stray, would you like to come along?"

Nyx/Issei: "Huh?"
