Yujin's POV
After the coffee spill incident, I and Ryujin left the hallway, heading towards my office with my anger. As we walked, Ryujin glanced at me with a knowing smile.
"You didn't have to be so hard on her, you know," Ryujin said, nudging I playfully.
I sighed. "I know, but she caught me off guard. I guess I overreacted."
Ryujin chuckled. "You're always like that. But seriously, what's been bothering you? You seem more stressed than usual."
I hesitated before responding. "It's the situation with Mario Manoban. There are rumors they're spreading about us, trying to undermine our reputation. He was ordered his men to demolish the houses of the people in the area where we were trying to invest.."
Ryujin's expression turned serious. "I heard about that. What are you going to do?"
I opened the door to her office and gestured for Ryujin to enter. "Come in. We need to discuss our strategy."
Once inside, I closed the door and took a seat behind my desk. Ryujin sat across from me, leaning forward with interest.
"So, what's the plan?" Ryujin asked, her tone business-like.
I leaned back in my chair, a thoughtful expression on my face. "We need to address these rumors head-on. I've already tasked our PR team with crafting a statement. But we need more than just words. We need to show our stakeholders that we are stronger than ever."
Ryujin nodded. "Agreed. What about legal action? Can we sue them for defamation?"
I shook her head. "It's tricky. They're careful about how they phrase things. But I've hired a new corporate lawyer who might be able to help us navigate this."
Ryujin raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Who's the new hire?"
I hesitated, recalling the earlier incident. "Her name is Jang Wonyoung. She just passed her interview. From what I've seen on her resume, she's quite capable."
Ryujin smirked. "Isn't she the one who spilled coffee on you?"
I rolled my eyes. "I don't know, so did you know her? But personal mishaps aside, she has an impressive track record. I think she'll be a valuable asset."
Ryujin nodded thoughtfully. "Well, if you believe in her abilities, then I trust your judgment. What's our first move?"
I leaned forward, my eyes sharp. "First, we need to gather evidence. I want you to find someone we can trust to dig into L Group's recent activities. And bring some our men to carry people who live around that area"
Ryujin nodded, determination in her eyes. "Consider it done. Anything else?"
I sighed, rubbing my temples. "We also need to reassure our investors. Set up a meeting with the board. We'll present our findings and our plan of action."
Ryujin stood up, a confident smile on her face. "You've got it, Puppy. We'll get through this."
I sighed " Thank you Ryujin. But why are you suddenly here? You just come at the right time. I thought I would call you later with this" I asked with a wonder tone.
Ryujin smiled and said " I would like to invite you to join my party event that it will be in this weekend. Would you like to join us? I also invited a little you(Haerin) and yes but you need to bring her there!!"
I rolled my eyes with my cold glared " why? Don't she has her car?"
Ryujin Lift her eyebrow " I don't know either, but I think she wants to know you more bro. You can't refuse, you need to be there"
