Wonyoung's pov
After few Days
After leaving home and seeking refuge with my friend Yeji, I faced an unexpected twist: my father had closed my bank account, cutting off my financial support. Desperate to gain independence, I began the daunting task of job hunting.
I scrolled through various job listings on my phone, my frustration growing with each passing moment. I sighed, glancing at Yeji, who was sitting nearby, reading a book.
"I can't believe my dad closed my bank account," I muttered, her voice tinged with disbelief. "It's like he's trying to force me into submission."
Yeji looked up from her book, sympathy in her eyes. "He's just worried about you, Wonyoung. But I understand why you're upset. Have you found anything promising?"
I shook my head. "Not really. It's tough finding something that fits my skills and experience. But I can't just sit around and do nothing."
Yeji's eyes suddenly lit up with an idea. "Hey, what about applying at An Corp? I heard they're looking for a Corporate lawyer. You graduated at Seoul National University, and it could be a good opportunity for you."
My eyes widened in surprise. "An Corp? That's... unexpected. But it sounds like a good idea. Do you think I'd have a chance?"
Yeji nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely! You're Analytical , quick on your feet, and have a natural presence. Plus, it's a big company with lots of opportunities. You should definitely apply."
Did I forget to mention about Wonyoung's Job? Wonyoung's decision to become a lawyer at the young age of 20 was driven by her passion for justice and her determination to make a meaningful impact. Growing up, she had always been intellectually curious and dedicated to her studies. She excelled academically, skipping grades and graduating from high school early. Her early exposure to her father's business world sparked her interest in corporate law. Determined to follow her dreams, Wonyoung enrolled in Seoul National University's prestigious law program. She worked tirelessly, often sacrificing her social life to focus on her studies and internships. Her hard work paid off, and she graduated at the top of her class. By the age of 21, she had completed her degree and was already making a name for herself in the legal world. She didn't work cuz her dad don't want her to work and pressure her at the young age and make a promise that she will work when she is turning to 25s.
As I stepped into the sleek office of An Corp, I felt a mix of nerves and determination. i was here for an interview for the position of a Corporate Lawyer. The receptionist guided me to a conference room where i would meet the HR manager.
The door opened, and a friendly-looking woman in her mid-40s stepped in. "Hello, Ms. Jang. I'm Ms. Kim, the HR manager. Please have a seat."
I smiled politely and sat down, smoothing her skirt. "Thank you, Ms. Kim."
Ms. Kim reviewed my resume briefly before beginning the interview. "So, Wonyoung, let's start with an overview of your background. Can you tell me about your education and professional experience?"
I took a deep breath and began. "I graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Law. After that, I completed my internship at Kang & Associates, one of the top law firms in the city. For the past three years, I've been working as a Corporate Lawyer at HJ Legal, where I handled a variety of cases, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance issues, and contract negotiations."
Ms. Kim nodded, impressed. "That's an excellent background. Why are you interested in working for An Corp?"
"An Corp is a leading company with a stellar reputation in the industry," I replied confidently. "I am particularly drawn to your innovative approach and commitment to corporate social responsibility. I believe my skills and experience align well with the needs of your legal team, and I am eager to contribute to An Corp's continued success."
