Setting:
"The overuse and over-reliance on technology gravely limits critical thinking, creativity, empathy, and one's connection to mother nature", this is the story's theme. The story takes place in the Demon World, where all fantasy monsters exist. Amongst them there is the Elf Kingdom, which went under a Metallurgy Revolution when the largest iron ore reserves in the entire demon world were discovered there. This allowed elves to advance in technology at a supernatural paste, but it led to the decline of its green areas, and the creation of a dystopia.
In this new world led by super advanced technological elves, a new metal is created and named "Vitaritium", with the property to behave and grow like a plant. At first glance, that's all it does, but later in the story more will be revealed about it.
Protagonist:
Artemis is a homunculus that was lied to and made believe he was an elf too. When he finds out the truth, anger and hatred fill him, wishing nothing but vengeance against the Kingdom and the sorcerer that created him. He's aggressive and very violent, but his deep connection to nature makes him grieve over the catastrophe his homeland has suffered and decides to fight to restore the beauty of mother nature, but he still does it by being cold-hearted and violent.
His main ability is named "Divine Reckoning". Because the sorcery inside him doesn't let him harm anyone from the elf kingdom, he created a green spiritual sword able to slice and sever enemies without killing them, letting him bypass his magical restriction.
Design: Young fantasy elf with snake eyes, horns made of branches, spiky hair made of tree trunk, red hakama, white kimono, and long black jikatabi.
