Happy pride month my children! (sorry this is late)
When Nico woke up, he felt... refreshed. The skies were blue, the sun was shining and there was no cloud in the sky. He rolled out of bed and checked the date. June 1-7:00 am. The date seemed oddly familiar, but Nico couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. He realised that, for the first time in a while, he was hungry.
He got changed and headed out of his cabin and down to breakfast, taking his time along the walk, savouring the sunlight and letting the warmth wash over his face.
He heard a voice, calling to him. Will. Nico turned around saw Will running towards him, dressed in the classic camp shirt and shorts. Only one thing was different. Will was wearing rainbow eyeshadow, and had the Bi flag painted on his face.
When Will reached Nico, he gave him a quick kiss, which was surprising to Nico, but he wasnt objecting.
"Hey neeks! Guess what day it is?" Will asked, with a grin that could make anyone laugh. Nico looked confused. "A...Thursday..? I guess..?". Will laughed and said "No! Do you not know? Its the beginning of pride month!!"
Nico continued to look confused, thinking as hard as he could on what 'pride month' could be. Nothing came to his mind. "Will, look, i'm starving, so could you tell me on the way to breakfast? Please?" Nico asked. Will looked shocked, and happy, that Nico was hungry for breakfast. 'O-Of course I can! Yea! Let's go and ill explain everything to you."
Will told Nico about pride month, and how it was a whole month dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, and it was a whole month where everyone could celebrate who they really were and not have to hide from the world for being who they were born to be. Nico's eyes widened in awe as they walked to breakfast. "So you mean... theres a whole month dedicated to us?" He asked.
Will's grin grew as he nodded. When they made it to breakfast, the whole area was covered in every flag possible. Nico knew this was going to be a great month.

I have had zero motivation lately so i just wanted to publish this so i could get the next part out!
