My fears

Lexi P.O.V.

Its been 3 weeks since i talked that fool Corahn. We had no contact at all. Not even a text. I was cool not talking to him. I felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. But there was still a pain in my heart. I was hurt but sadly still in love with him. I mean can you blame me? We have a family together. I want to let go but i cant. I layed in my bed with thoughts rolling around. My eyes was shut but was suddenly opened when my door busted open and everyone who lived in this house with me walked in singing happy birthday. I turned over in my bed and looked at everyone who was coming in. My auntie had a cake she made from scratch in her hand, and the rest of the family had balloons in pink and black. Corahyn (nickname Ryhn) was asleep since she was up all night.

"Happy Birthday to you.." They finished off the song. My auntie plopped down on to the bed and kissed my on my fore head. After her kiss she gave me a card and the cake. I sat up straight and looked at the card. It was a simple card with everyone's name signed in the inside. The front of the car had a cupcake and read You Finally made it! in cursive. In the inside was a whole paragraph explain how much they love me and how much they want to make this day special. I slowly closed the card and with a smile i looked my family.

"Thanks guys!" I exclaimed getting up to hug everyone of them.

"No probs." Julian said along with everyone else but in their on words.

"Lexi i scheduled us a spa day at Olympic spa, Jules will watch Corahyn for you." My auntie said.

"MAMA! I actually got something to do today, why cant Corahn watch her?" Julian replied.

"No! He's not about to watch that child he is way too careless and immature!" My auntie said.

"What about indigo!"

"No I'm not about to put that child on Indi she might have something to do."

Julian gave my auntie a hard stare while we all laughed.

"It's ok auntie i'll call somebody and see if somebody is free."I said laughing.

"what about Bri?" Julian suggested.

"Ju did not here what i said, i got this, your free." I replied.

"Alright."

"Speaking of Brian.. where the hell is that boy he ain't call he ain't tell me he was leaving last! Mama got know where her baby is!" My auntie said walking out the room.

"Mama that boy is 27! he ain't no baby!" Julian said following after her. Soon after he left everyone followed behind him. I walked over to my window and looked out the blinds. The sun was shining bright, kids were out side playing in the morning dew and i knew that the air smelt fresh. Although today was great day... my birthday, there was still something lingering over me. A dark cloud of sorrow. I couldn't get over that feeling..

I walked over to my bed, grabbed my phone, and plopped down on my bed. I looked through my contacts and clicked on Ali's contact. The dial tone rang a couple of times before she answered.

"Hello?"She answered with a croaky voice.

"Hey." I replied back.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEST FRIEND!" She screamed through the receiver.

"Thanks!"I replied back.

"What are you doing today?"

"Going to the spa with my auntie."

"And then.."

"Coming home."

"And then.."

"Going to sleep."
