The weekend has finally rolled around and you are able to bask in it once more. For some reason a black haired pink beret wearing girl has been on your mind, a lot. You know it's because you feel guilty even if Kenny and the others reassured you it would be perfectly fine. Something in you needed to speak with her, and tell her that you're truly sorry for everything you have said and done. It's the least you could do, she is the closest girl to you in South Park.
Wanting to do something nice for her you decide to bring her some coffee and a little sweet treat. Heading over to Tweek Bros. Coffeehouse, not only is that her favorite coffee place (Pretty much the only coffee place in South Park), but it's where you first met her, and she became your first friend.
Maybe it was the cold getting to you on your walk or maybe it was some stupid girl crush, but just thinking about the look on Wendy's face when she sees you pop up to her house with a coffee in hand and her favorite treat, fills you with glee. Maybe you might have a little crush on her?
You try and shake yourself of those thoughts out of respect for Wendy because she did say her and Stan have a thing going on and you wouldn't want to somehow mess things up for them. They are a cute couple, super cute actually. A pretty girl and a pretty boy. A perfect pair.
Before you can fully process what you're feeling you see it, through the window of Tweek Bros. A girl with pretty long black hair and a boy with a red puff ball hat. Wendy and Stanley. You can feel pain in your chest for a short second, maybe it was jealousy or maybe it was just that guilt again. You always did have a heavy heart and this made it plummet.
Once that bell lets out a shrill, everyone stares. Just like they did when you first came there but this scenario is different because Wendy isn't running up to you and asking you your name or filling your ego with compliments. She ignores the bell and is continuing to talk to Stan, but the raven haired boy does look. A small smile formed on his face and he is waving at you, this is what snaps Wendy out of her talking spree.
And she looks at you not with those soft eyes like she had before but anger? jealousy? You wave back at Stan and smile, not feeling as welcomed as you did before. The blonde boy you have became aquatinted with gets you your coffee and you take it over to Stan and Wendy's table, deciding to just say hello.
"Hey Y/n, what are you doing out?" Stan's voice is cheerful, surpassingly, weirdly. "Oh my mom wanted me to pick some things up from the store but I wanted to stop here first." Smiling at him you revert your attention to the girl. She is looking at you but not so fondly. "Wendy, I actually wanted to talk to you, not today of course, I see you're busy, but another day." Again you smile, maybe a bit more wide for her than Stan but nothing too strange.
"Yeah another day, Y/n." Her eyes divert from yours and look at your coffee, using the tiny straw to stir it around. Stan is now looking at Wendy with a questionable look, not knowing the reason for her coldness either. The overwelming feeling of hurt is washing over you, so you pivot on your heel, bid them your see you laters and got out of there.
Why would she be acting like this to you? It makes no sense whatsoever. All this is so confusing just a few days ago she was cool, what happened? Did the Lucas thing really upset her this bad or was it something else?
It couldn't have been Lucas, maybe she is just having a bad day, or maybe it's Stan?
So many questions wrapped your mind in a tight grip, you couldn't help but feel your eyes swell. You're supposed to be friends, what happened?
what did I do?
"Y/n, Gee am I glad to see you!!" Butters was shoveling snow as you approached him. Taking the back of your hand you whip at the small tears that collected on your lash line. Last thing you would want to do is make your feelings another person's problem, once was enough.
"Hey Butters, it's good to see you!" Matching his excitement and tone was the only way to get out of this interaction quickly. Butters looks around for his parents for a second before leaning up the shovel against the mailbox and walking over to you to give you a hug. You gently squeeze him but while you do, you feel that pain come back and your eyes water.
You give Butters a slight push to show him that the hug was over, something that you usually wouldn't do. You would hug Butters for as long as the blonde wanted, physical affection was something you enjoyed, so what was up? "Y/n, you ok?" Looking at Butters face it held a lot of worry. He is such a sweet guy.
"I'm fine Butters, I just got a cold, and I don't want to get you sick." Butters nodded his head still smiling, "Well ok, I'll let you get home, I wouldn't want you to get worse!" You nod before heading back on track to your home.
While walking across the street to get to your home, you glance over at Stan's window and see him. With her. Making out, hands roaming each others bodies. It annoyed you slightly. how come she will act all cold to you but soft with him?
A loud honking snaps you out of your daze, a car was only a couple feet from where you're standing, you're blocking traffic. "Shit, I'm so sorry sir!" Quickly you run out of the street and back into your home.
What the hell was I doing?
