Chapter 17

"Y/n? buddy? you listening to me right now?" Butters hand comes into your vision as he is waving it frantically in your face. You jolt back in your chair, "I'm sorry Butters, I have just been thinking about some personal stuff, can we talk later?" The blonde boy gives you a pat on the shoulder and a nod before telling you to just text if you needed anything. After that you both walked out of the class to go your separate ways.

While walking to your locker you see Wendy hanging by your locker, clearly waiting for you, she bounces from one foot to another, looking nervous. You don't think you have ever seen her act in this manner so it was off. Something in you wanted to go the other way and say screw it, maybe you can run out the back of the school and make it home without her seeing you. But another part of you thought maybe you should try and talk to her, there is no way the situation will be resolved unless you both talk it out.

Giving in you walk to your locker, whatever happens, happens. "Hey Y/n, If you are not busy can we talk?" You walk around her go open your locker, "Talk about what?" She lets out a sigh, "I understand if you're upset with me and you have every right to, I have been taking my anger out on you when I shouldn't be." She pleas to you, "Come on, I just want to make it up to you, Y/n."

You give her a small smile and nod your head, "Ok we can chat, coffee?" She grabs onto your arm while you both walk out of the building. "Y/n." You hum to let her know you're listening. "I missed you." Turning your head you see Wendy staring at you. It didn't even occur to you that you both stopped walking. Your face is turning pink from the abruptness of her comment. But you don't take long to respond back to her. 

"I missed you too."
