Eren's Perspective
I woke up before the sun was up. Old habits die hard, I guess. During my stay in Marley, it wasn't that I was paranoid... okay, maybe it was that, but also back when I was in the scouts, we were always up early.
This new world is different from my own, but also the same in many ways. From creatures that hunt and prey on humans, to the faunus and being treated as lesser beings like Eldians, the only major difference however was technology, those new wagons that are known as cars, to giant flying boats known as Bullhead Airships, and the way of living, You can't even find showers this nice in Marley, especially not after the damage done. After taking care of my personal hygiene, I got dressed and went to grab something to eat from the cafeteria.
---Locker Room---
Everyone was in the locker room preparing their respective gear, there was a girl with brown hair and I think a Red streak in it preparing her yellow suitcase, 'that's a strange weapon',a Dark skinned male preparing his arm blade attachments... 'I need to take some notes for later'. Another really big guy with a giant sword and a girl with rabbit ears on her head, 'so that's a faunus', she appeared to be holding a camera and strange box with her. I went to my temporary locker and grabbed my odm gear. Making sure all the gears were in the right places and the grapple was attached properly. Checking the blades were in place, and the feul was good. Besides that, my only issue is the feul source, I'm gonna have to find a replacement for it soon.
"Will all students please report to Beacon cliff for I initiation, repeat, all students to Beacon cliff for Initiation."
With my inspection complete, I began to head to where the speaker declared.

As I made my way up to the cliff, I saw everyone else there being told to step on the pressured pads in front of them. Ozpin soon gave out the rules.
"Many of you have made it far, now time for the real test of character, as well as the formation of teams. Teams shall be decided today. Your partner will be the first person you make eye contact with. As for you, Mr. Yeager, no such rule applies." I figured, but what's the stone pad for?
"Now, when you are flung into the Air, you will develop your own landing strategy. This will be useful for when you start to go on missions in the future." He's gonna launch us in the air? That works for me, i guess. "
Finally. Your goal is to make it to the Temple, retrieve the artifact, and return back here. Killing Grimm is not a top priority, but it is still recommended that you take out as many Grimm as you can while out there. Good luck to you all."
As each platform flung each person into the air, one by one. I couldn't help but wonder if there was some other purpose to this than just a 'Landing Strategy'...
The spring beneath my feet started ticking. "Here goes nothing." As I was launched into the air, and over the forest below...
Fox's Perspective
As I felt the wind change speed, I knew I was slowing down, using my echo location to see just how close I was to the forest top. Too close, I would say.
(A/N I haven't read any books, I'm doing things based on my own research and making things fit in the story better. Fox is blind, so he has echo-location to help him navigate the world around him.)
Using my Sharp retirbution, i was able to slice through the tree tops, then using my claws, I was able to grip onto the tree bark and slow my descent. towards the ground. Using my semblance, Tracker, I am able to amplify my Echo Location to act as a pair of eyes and lay out the terrain around me, including any potential threats. "No, Grimm spotted yet. Need to use it sparingly." The downside is that it takes a lot of aura to constantly use my semblance. So I have to rely on my more natural sense when it comes down to it.
A rustling sound caught my attention as I waited for the unknown creature to attack me
Yatsuhashi's perspective
Another Grimm slain, another one takes its place. Wash, rinse, repeat. "Come on then, the more of you there are, the greater the challenge then!" As they surrounded me, I got into my stance, before I could kill any of them, a Red figure jumped through the tree line and immediately took down one of the beowolves, however it would appear he was being chased by a couple more... perfect!
"You, what is your name?" I asked the quick and agile fighter, "Fox Alistar, and you?" He landed next to me in the center of the Horde "Yatsuhashi Daichi, it's an honor to meet you, fox. Now, what say we finish these Grimm off together? As partners!" As I readied my blade and activated my semblancence unbroken resolve which hardens my aura to absorb more powerful strikes. "Alright then, let's do this!" Shouted Fox as the Grimm made their move
Eren's Perspective
Maneuvering through the forest is easy with the ODM gear. However, I do have to manage my feul, thanks to the fact that iceburst stone doesn't exist here. I've only encountered a few Grimm, thankfully, but that's more unsettling to me than anything else, I don't have to retrieve a relic, but I do need to test out my strengths against these Grimm more. See just how limited I am to my Titan powers.
Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. A horde of Wolves had gathered by a strange stone structure. That must be the temple... I quickly advanced on the wolves while I still had the element of surprise. I took two wolves down easy as I landed atop the Temple.
Your speed and strength are almost like an Ackerman...
Almost like an ackerman... I looked around at the scene below, the wolves all ready to pounce. I steadied myself and readied my swords.
When the First wolf jumped I did the same, slicing through it effortlessly before slicing the next 4 right behind it. Before landing into a slide. Using my new speed I quickly and effortlessly cut down seven wolves. Another 3 wolves were running at me, I sliced the first and kicked the second, the third had manged to land a hit on me before I stabbed my sword into its skull. The wolf I had kicked ended up flying into a pillar and caused the structure to start collapsing. I was able to get out of the way in time, but the rest of the wolves did not and they were crushed by the falling debris.
I stood up and placed my swords back in their sheaths and my ODM triggers beside them. A loud whistle rung out and I immediately turned around to where thenwhistle came from. There stood the two women from earlier. Both standing with shocked looks on their faces. After a few minutes of silence, The woman with the briefcase spoke.
"So, you uh, do that often?"

All right! The marks this Chapter finished! Next Chapter will be the conclusion of the initiation. Also we'll be seeing another familiar face here in a few chapters, you'll just have to keep reading to find out who it is.
As for the length between chapters... life gets busy, and I don't always have time to put into this book. But I'll try to post updates as soon as I can.
