No one's POV It was a normal day in the new base, since what happened with lockdown, they had to move to a whole new area. Starscream didn't like it much due to it being a little smaller than the old base. Everyone else didn't mind it. Starscream had woken up with a big headache and thought a good cup of energon would help, everyone else was still asleep and we're in their new rooms.
Starscream and Knockout had met up the day before to hang out and talk after the whole "no more war" thing. Knockout was happier and seemed less tense about talking out loud, since Soundwave didn't constantly listen in on their conversations. They had went for a walk and found some energon, Starscream brought some back, but... He didn't check it...
Due to him not checking it, which was stupid of him (in the words of Megatron, no hate to my baby). His headache was caused by the energon, Starscream went to get some more and drank a little before dropping the cube. His processor speeding and ticking, he started to shake, a sly grin appears on his face, as his optics turn a shade of wine red, not his usual shade of red, a dark wine red. Ratchet had woken up from the crash and had ran out of his room, looking around.
Ratchet looks over to see a Starscream shaking and looking to the ground, looking at the broken cube of energon... "Starscream? Are you alright?" Ratchet asked as he walked towards him. Starscream turns and looks at him with a big grin on his face, Ratchet automatically noticing Screamer's now wine red optics, but now lubricant was falling down his face. It wasn't the usual light blue, no, it was that same wine red as his optics...
Ratchet was nervous, so he comms Skyfire, Skyfire doesn't take long to arrive and see his beloved all shaken and covered in this wine red liquid. Starscream started to laugh, not a laugh of joy, nor one of pain, one that showed that he didn't know what to do. Skyfire tried to walk to him but out of nowhere, there was a shot. Megatron, Megatron shoot Starscream...
Starscream went flying into the wall, he winces in pain, the liquid pouring from his body, Skyfire ran to him and held him in his arms, tears run down Skyfire's face. Ratchet, who was now pissed, punched Megatron for thinking it was a good idea to shot Starscream. "What in your right processor made you think shooting him would help!!" Ratchet punched Megatron to the floor. Megatron didn't respond and just got up and left.
Skyfire always trying to figure out where Starscreams pain was and continues to hold him. Ratchet runs over and checks on Starscream, scanning his whole body, finding where the wound was. Ratchet looks at the broken mech before him, Skyfire, he looked so broken to think he'd lose Starscream. "Hurry, lift him up and follow me," Ratchet got up and went to the medbay. Skyfire followed behind him holding Starscream, putting him down on the table.
Time skip After Starscream was all healed up, Ratchet through out all the expired energon out. Starscream recovered and wasn't allowed away from Skyfire for more than 5 minutes for around a week. Megatron was punished by Ratchet, where Optimus couldn't do anything other than chuckle. Starscream learned a lesson, don't drink expired energon or else you'll feel sick...
Sup! So I know it was short but this is what I got! Anyway thanks EkioCottontail for this idea for this chapter, sorry if you wanted it a bit different and Starscream showing more action, I didn't really know how. Anyway I was bored at 2 in the morning...again... So I drew a picture of this idea, but it has no effort, I was still sleep deprived at the time, it is a G1 version though cause....why not?
