I am an architecture student, who lives 2 hours away from her university. I had relatives in the province where my university is but it would also take an hour and a half to get there, that includes the traffic.

And if I were to commute from my relatives' place, I would have to use a tricycle, which costs around 50 pesos (if I want to use the jeep after that, it would cost 24 pesos). But if I want to you the trike all the way to my university it would cost around 200 pesos (or more cause trike drivers there are yikes).

To some, it may be a fair price or you're reactions would be like "nah, ganyan talaga" or "mura na yan". But the thing is, tricycle costs me around 10 pesos to 100 pesos only, where I'm from. So I guess, you would understand the feeling right?

Considering the time, distance, and cost of transportation, we have decided to rent an apartment (which didn't go well with my first year staying at it) but we have decided to continue it anyways.

So pros of renting an apartment is that its cheaper in terms of transportation, less time consuming papuntang university because its closer in distance as well. Plus, you get to be independent and you have to learn to do it on your own.

Cons is that you have to pay rent or bills (but it would still be the same if I ever stayed with my relatives), you cook your own food so most of the time you don't because you wouldn't have enough time to do it because you're doing your college stuff (plates). But hey, at least hawak ko oras ko.

This summer, I wanted to be productive and I wanted to help my mother who kept on working and working for us. But also, I wanted extra allowance kase who doesn't?

Tell me, who doesn't like extra allowance para sa gala, kain, pang tiktok shop, etc.?

So I looked and looked and looked.

Bae, I even applied at BPO companies😭

If you guys don't know what a BPO company is, it's call center (but not just call center, there are other jobs within bpo as well but its mostly customer service jobs, correct me if I'm wrong).

Then I met this girl, she talked to me and introduced me to this side-hustle. And at first, I didn't want to.

I mean, I wanted to but I didn't trust her or myself. I liked the job, ok? But I kept doubting myself. So I prayed and asked if this was a sign, if I should go for it.

Sakto that night, I kept seeing quotes sa pinterest about growth, and moneyfesting. As well as youtube reels and mga podcast about being independent and earning for yourself. Like bigla talaga nag-pop and nag-iba yung algorithm ko.

Kinabukasan, I did it.

I was like "f it, go ko na, forda money."

I joined the team and I was excited. Not afraid anymore. Not doubting anymore.

Ka-join ko, everyone was greeting and congratulating me.

When I met them in person, most of them are saying I was so lucky to be able to join the team, because the team that I joined at ay isa sa mga pinakamalakas na team sa company namin. Kumakabog sila mga anteh!

And 2 days after I joined, they held an event and everyone was excited. People that weren't even in our team was jealous because they want to join the event as well.

During that event I met my people, my support system. They weren't just co-workers but they are the people who will support and motivate you no matter what. People who will guide you. People who will help you grow.

There are weekly seminars provided for us and these seminars help. Even if you feel like you don't need to but these seminars remind you about what mindset you should have. And it helps me whenever I feel down, whenever I feel tired.

With just a week of joining the team, I already earned 4k. Pero nakakaiyak kase sa rent ko muna yan and not my allowance since bakasyon.

Pero ikaw? Is 4k enough for you? For extra allowance, example. Enough na ba?

Even in small winnings just like that, I'm already grateful. Remember to always be grateful for everything that you already have because the things that you want, that you are manifesting. It will soon come. Sunod-sunod yan dadating.

But how if you continue to doubt yourself? How will that happen if you continue to fear?

Fear will get you nothing, dear.

Don't let fear control you. Fear and do it anyway.

So if you want to know more, you know what to do😌
